Thermapens are great! I’ve used the old model, which still works fine, for many years, but decided to upgrade to the new model which reads temps even faster. As a bread baker, temperature is important, but as a frequent fish and seafood cook, a very quick temp reading is vital. I can’t stand overcooked fish! When that happens, I’ll eat enough to appease my hunger, and the fish-loving puppy, who does not discreminate, eats the rest.This thermometer reads temps so fast, it will amaze!

This thing is plain and simple and works great.The temp probe broke off my old thermometer so I had to replace it. Old one had a lot of options on the handle. This one does not. I was a bit concerned about not being able to turn on the light to see the read out in a dark stove or to lock the temp.Neither is necessary with this probe. The readout is well lit. The temp reading is resolved so quickly there is no need for a locked read out.My old therm would gradually get to the reading, say 2 seconds to get there. 107, 108.3, 110, 110.This one just pops to 110 and the only time it changes is when the temperature changes.Absolutely love it!

Just like all the other reviews say, works really well. First use was on some pretty thick filets. I went for a medium and I would have absolutely kept cooking them if I didn't have this. I thought they were too soft and not even close but I just used the thermometer and trusted it. Got lots of compliments from the family.

My spouse, who forgot how it works, can attest that it can't be left in meat in the oven. Unfortunately, because of the price my replacement had to be a less expensive model.

Love this thermometer! Works great and worth the money! My husband uses it when he grills, and I use it in the kitchen. Works great for candy making as well!

There's a reason everyone loves this thermometer. It's super accurate, and super fast. This is my second one (bought for my son as he's grown up and moving out).

All those other ones I bought previously were crap and are in the garbage now. This one is sooooo worth the money.
