Great road tire. Only road tire I buy.
I love these tires But, I have been riding on Conti's since GP 2000 tires were out in the 1980s. I run 700x25 tubeless on my Trek Emonda SL6 Pro and love them. Excellent grip, good speed and cornering, decent comfort and durability. I easily get 1500 miles on a rear tire and front tire would easily last 3000. I weigh 190Lbs, and run tires hard on hooked rims at 100psi rear and 96psi front. I use Stans rim tape and sealant. I have no issues setting these tires up tubeless. I set them dry then add sealant through stem. I have them mounted on 17.5mm ID wide rims. 21mm rim tape 2 wraps pulled tight.

Now I see
Now I see what the hype was about; with these wheels....I was rolling with the Schwalbe Pro1s, but man, those wheels just don't last long, the money goes to quick. I just got these and just the feeling of them in my hand, they feel like a superior tire, and they are definitely fast. Really comfortable. I will see how long they last. But so far, I think they are going to be my new tire.

Great tubeless tires
After much research I decided to purchase these tires to go on the new carbon fiber wheels for my road bike. Installed these tires myself this spring. These are my first and only tubeless bike tires. They were difficult to install as I expected them to be. But overall I’m very happy with the performance and quality of the tires. I have approximately 1k miles on them so far and I have had no problems at all. Traction is fantastic and I have had no problems with flats at all. Not sure why the bad reviews on Amazon when these have a reputation as one of the best tubeless road tires available.

I thought the price was too good to be true
Comparing these to the original GP 5000 S TR that I'm replacing, these are legit. They are sold as a pair, maybe that is where the cost savings comes from. The reason that I'm replacing one is that I got a sidewall cut. This has historically been the weakness of the GP 4000 and 5000 tires. This happens about once every 5 years for me which is so infrequent that I don't consider it an issue. Lean over hard in a turn and hit a rock tall enough to reach the sidewall and it slices the sidewall. The sealant slowed the leak so I could come to a stop under control.Excellent low rolling resistance and grip and center of the tread puncture protection. Smooth confident ride. Installation is a bit tight but isn't that the point to a tubeless tire to stay sealed. Like all bicycle tire installation, get the tire bead in the bead center of the rim for ease of installation. 2 to 4 oz of sealant and good to go. The final tire width depends on rim with.

Very good tires.
As far as tubeless tires go, these were fairly easy to mount. Using a couple of tire levers, a little muscle and some finesse, I was able to get the first tire seated on the rim in about 10 minutes. The second tire went on in less time. The tires fit so snuggly that I inflated them using a hand pump. I used 2 ounces of sealant for each tire. They hold air well. They lose about 10-12 psi in 10-ish days, which is pretty reasonable for tubeless tires. The ride quality is good. The soft rubber compound lets you really feel road contact. The ride is smooth and quiet. I've put about 180 miles on this set of tires with no problems and no abnormal wear.

Horrible Tires
I purchased two sets of these tires a few month apart. The first set I ran over a piece of glass and repaired the tire. I purchased the second set a few months ago and earlier this week purchased another set. After I purchased the 3rd set within the last week my first set started going flat, 3 times on a ride. Yes, it had plenty of sealant. Today I rode my other bike with the second set, again, 3 flats today on the rear when running over some debris on the road. I'm tired of these tires going flat with every little piece of glass or sticker. The puncture resistance is horrible. I will be returning the other set as soon as they arrive. No more of these Contis!

Best tires I've tried
Best tires I've used, they have great grip, very fast and comfortable. I had the Pirelli before and these are better by far.
