This has slowed down my Australian Shepherd tremendously. He was vomiting every time he ate because he ate too fast and this is a nice bowl. It's heavy, priced well, it's well made and it can go into the dishwasher.

Perfect! My Chocolate Lab just gulps down food, and I'm sure she doesnt even chew most of it. This bowl really slowed her eating down and because she can only get a few kibbles in her mouth now at a time, she actually chews her food! It has substantially showed down her eating. Plus the bowl is ceramic and really sturdy and heavy. Well made.

So this is packaged great, very secure. It looks simple to put together (it is-align the two wood posts with the hole in the middle and use the screw to secure them together), however, there's no instructions. I was able to figure it out (it's really not hard lol) BUT I was a little lost on the stickers. I had to go to their listing here to see they were meant to help it to secure the bowl so that it wouldn't move around. Well, I didn't know beforehand so I used one set underneath to use it as a floor protector *shrug*. Don't know what the clear bumpers are for though as I didn't see that mentioned at all on here. So the sticker / bumper things were useless for me because I placed half in the wrong area and the other half didn't seem to help secure the bowl at all. However, if I end up finding that to be an issue I'll figure out something. I'm just appreciative of finding a slow feeder with a STAND that had good reviews to base my purchase on. My staffy puppy is fast growing and is quite tall-the slow feeder we were using before had no stand so it was just flat on the floor and it was quite small and hard to hold much food. This bowl though is really nice, great weight to it and a really pretty colour. I have no doubts it'll be easy to throw in the dishwasher. It's the perfect size for my fast growing staffy puppy who eats as if she's been starved smh lol. It really helps her to slow down and (hopefully, enjoy the food too hahaha) no longer choke from eating too fast. She used to eat in half the time it takes my roommate's GSD to eat (and he's a big boy), but now the GSD finishes before my staffy! Super happy with the purchase. I first ordered the wrong size but set up an easy return and ordered the larger size with no problem, and I'm sooo glad I did.

Well made, attractive, and impervious to her chewing tendencies, this bowl is perfect! The stand was easy to put together, sturdy, and the bowl is really pretty. We love it!

I bought this bowl to replace a plastic one I was worried might be toxic, and I’m so glad I did. One of my cats eats fast and tries to steal my other cats food. We normally have to feed them in two separate rooms with doors shut to prevent this. This slow feeder does slow him down by over 20 mins (I timed it, he was busy and fixated for 26 mins) and we were able to feed this particular cat out in the open but away from view of the other cat without him trying to steal. He also loves puzzles and needs a lot of mental stimulation (we have other pet puzzles that he uses between meals) but we love that he also has a puzzle to do at meal time.The dish itself is good quality and I love that it is dishwasher safe, that helps a lot.My only issue with this cat feeder is the material. I wish it wasn't ceramic because he does sometimes knock his teeth on the puzzle ridges while he's trying to get to a particular spot. Perhaps as he gets used to it he will learn not to, but it doesnt sound great some of the time. I worry he will chip a tooth if he doesn't learn. We will see. But so far so good, pretty happy about this purchase.

We absolutely love this ceramic bowl for our dog. We have a big lab who has a tendency to eat a lot of food very fast. This bowl has helped stabilize his eating speed and allow him to slow down during meals. The color and design are so cute!! Totally worth the money and would buy again.

Love the dog bowl. It slowed him down the first few days & I still don’t think he is inhaling his food as much. I do think it makes his meals a little more interesting. Love that it is up higher too. The quality of both the bowl & stand is outstanding! Yes, I would buy it again.
