These are great wheels. Really smooth and super quiet. I needed these for an office chair which previously had standard plastic casters that were beginning to fall apart after 10 years, and they had always been a bit noisy on my wooden floors so I thought I’d give the rollerblade style wheels a try. I can’t believe I didn’t buy these years ago. They are almost frictionless and silent as my chair glides where I want it to go a the slightest touch. If I was prone to hyperbole then I might compare it to how astronauts must feel when they are floating free on the space station, but it’s only a set of wheels so I’ll stop short of that and just say they are super excellent and impressively smooth.I’ve seen lots of reviews of other wheels saying they don’t last long, but these seem to be holding up fine even after the extra weight I’ve gained over Christmas. Hopefully they’ll continue to perform for years to come too.If I have one negative, it is that they are almost too frictionless. On the second day I had them on, I stood up to grab something on a shelf and gave the chair the tiniest nudge with the back of my knee, which was enough to start the chair traveling backward away from me by the time I went to sit back down. It was a close shave but I managed to escape a comedy gold fall on my behind by grabbing the desk before I went down. Yes, I wanted my new wheels to be frictionless and quiet, but I got more than I bargained for there. So, just be careful if you’ve not had such excellent wheels before and you’ll love them as much as I now do.Totally recommended.

Easy to fit, well made, excellent value for money.I was concerned that my office chair wheels would damage my new oak floor, they were the plastic double sided standard casters, that were past their best. So I changed them for a set of rubber rollerblade wheels and they are great. Easy to move around and most importantly no damage to the floor. Excellent 👍

These roller blade style chair wheels are amazing.My office chair (at home) had the traditional double caster wheels that do a great job of picking up small pieces of debris , sticking, then leaving dirt lines across the laminate floor after a while.The roller blade style wheels are singular, so a lower rolling resistance - they're also larger and literally took 5mins to install.I was just about to buy another chair - purely because of the original castor wheels - buying these, saved the extra cost and now have me sailing across my living room with the slightest push. ...lol!highly recommend these - 100%

While working from home in lockdown, I noticed my hard plastic office chair wheels were starting to damaging the concrete floor. I considered buying a cushioned mat, but then I found these wheels. They wheels themselves are much like micro-scooter wheels. The reduce rolling resistance so moving the office chair while seated is a lot easier.They appear will made and durable.I am not sure if office chair wheels are of a standard size, but before purchasing it would be a good ideas to remove one of you existing wheels and compare the measurements of the connecting spindle. They are 11mm in diameter and 22m long. There is a diagram on wheels' web page, showing the dimensions.

So easy to install and super simple. The difference they make is amazing, so much better on a hard floor and ridiculously smooth! Get them!!

I have found these caster wheels quite good so much so that I bought a second set for my other new office chair. They are silent on the cement floor, esay to fit and they look really good. They are smooth. I like them. I have now been using them for about one month and they do look sturdy. I do not have e a carpet and so cannot moment so much as to if one would need a carport protector. I do not think that a carpet protector would be required. It is probably best to use them before you buy a carpet protector. Personally, if I had a carpet floor, I would not buy the carpet protector, these caster wheels have a bigger diameter. Bought because my office chair kept getting hair wrapped round the wheels and I couldn’t get them apart to release it. These are perfect, seem to leave less dents on the carpet and nothing gets stuck in them. Be aware though they are taller than the average wheels so I now need a little foot rest for my feet

The company shipped on time and as promised. It seems to be a good company. The wheels themselves are well made. However, I have a problem with them. Once installed, my chair becomes unstable and prone to tipping over. At my age and weight of 300 pounds, this could potentially cause me serious injury. The chair tipped over, dumping me on the floor twice in the space of four hours. I got rid of the wheels and went back to my old ones. I'd rather ruin my floor than ruin my bones.Another aggravation, but not quite as serious a facter, the large wheels also have trouble rotating into position due to there size and make it difficult for a moment to get a roll in the direction I want without first experiencing resistance.All of these problems are based on the nature of larger wheels on chairs. I ordered different wheels from several companies, and experienced the same problems with all of them regardless of manufacture. The company here selling them is a fine company and I would do business with this company again. Its just an inherent problem with this type of product.
