Shipped fast and safe!
Received the product in the ~48 hour Prime window.Opened it and there was inflated bubble wrap. Plenty to keep the VERY sensitive caliper safe. Removed and tested it and it worked fine.

They're Good, Skookum, Fine, Accurate. They are Chinese. . .
These calipers are a good value for the money. I have over ten years of experience in Machine and Layout, and have always used Brown & Sharpe Calipers, they're definitely a pillar of quality. That said i expect a quality feel and the Insize 8in digital Caliper is very nice. This caliper is close to the Mitutoyo's and the B&S's. They're making a nice product line.Mine has a metal thumb wheel (thank you creator) and the battery cover seems to be sturdy, it's not in the way, does not pop off during typical measurements, which can be very annoying with digi's in my opinion. The case they come in is very nice.I will up date the review if the battery life is poor, which i will be comparing that to a Mitutoyo digi. The Mitutoyo's have excellent battery life.I expect this tool to have good battery life.

Not that great.
Not repeatable.I didn't buy mine from Amazon. I have used mine for about 4 months. While they are good on measuring known objects like 1-2-3 or 4-5-6 blocks they are very poor at repeating measurements while actually machining parts. When I rough cut my part then square the ends, I take a measurement. If I take 10 or 20 thou off my part and measure it will give imprecise readings off by as much as 10 thou. I have to measure 4 or 5 times to get my number that I KNOW it is before it tells me. This inaccuracy spreads worse the length of the caliper. They hold accuracy to about 3 inches maybe 4. If the scale has to slide further they give false readings. I have scrapped many parts because of this. While using these I have to also use a height gage or other known repeatable instrument to watch my numbers.
