I have never been the protein shake drinking type, but this has changed me. The flavor is good, but not overpowering. It is not gritty nor chalky to me. Definitely buying again.

I've been buying Evolve vanilla protein powder for over 5 years now. I love the taste, they use real sugar instead of chemicals to sweeten it, it pairs well with all my fruits and veggies that get added in. The best part is every purchase donates money to my beloved National Parks.

They changed formula and it is not as tasty. I do like the increase in fiber. ImThe original has a very chocolate-y but the new formula is very blah. I even called the company to complain. Really sad about this because it was my go-to protein powder.

My friend referred me to Evolve when I was looking for a plant-based protein powder with minimal ingredients. I started off ordering the 1lb jar but quickly moved to the 2lb!This vegan powder has a high rating on the Clean Label Act's website, which means it is FREE of many harmful additives that often get mixed into plant-based powders.I agree with the reviewers who say that the vanilla powder is a bit chalky. However, the benefits (great price, minimal ingredients/additives, low sugar, etc.) far outweigh this one, small factor. When I fully mix it in my water or in my oatmeal, I don't even really notice the chalkiness anymore anyway!I keep buying this whenever I run low and I don't plan on switching to any, other powder!

After reading other reviews I don't understand how people can say this tastes good. It is completely not comparable to normal Vanilla Muscle Milk, or a Vanilla Milkshake, or anything Vanilla in any way for that matter. It has a very fine consistency, so it doesn't totally mix into water perfectly well, it also creates a fine dusty mist when scooped/dumped. I mix it in with my shaker and, to be frank, it tastes like cardboard with a tiny bit of sugar. I would assume its doing its job of providing protein. In fact I will probably continue to buy it as its a good value for the money as a protein supplement. And the flavor isn't repulsive, its just bad. At least it doesn't leave you a bad aftertaste, it goes down pretty easy.I've recently developed a dairy allergy so I was forced to dump my beloved Vanilla Muscle Milk for this. Having to drink this after a workout is definitely a downer compared to Muscle Milk, however I will say you do get used to it over time so it does become less bad and more tolerable.

I usually buy the protein shake at my local store but now that I can go to the gym more often I need a more inexpensive drink. Since I love the taste of the all ready shakes, i decided to buy it in powder to save money. The taste is the same (which is good) and it’s cheaper (which is good too). I got the vanilla flavor which is ok but I’ll get the chocolate next time. Certainly a keeper from now on.
