I made the mistake of ordering these not realizing there was a difference between this type of cinnamon and the type I usually use.If you’re a fan of the “usual” cinnamon, this product is not for you.I always put about 1/4 of a stick of cinnamon in my tea, and it gives it the perfect flavor. I used a half of a stick of this cinnamon and there is zero flavor. It does not taste like cinnamon at all; you might as well go outside and get a twig and use that.It’s also a lot softer, so it falls apart in my tea. There’s big chunks and a million tiny pieces and strings.

These cinnamon sticks have little to no cinnamony flavor. If you want cinnamon sticks that have a true cinnamony flavor, these are not them. From what I have read, they have more health benefits. I typically use them to brew a ginger, tumeric, ceylon cinnamon tea. If I want a stronger cinnamon flavor, then I just add some additional saigon cinnamon sticks to kick it up a notch.
