Great little set. I was actually somewhat surprised by the quality. The caulk and grout tools are not simple hard plastic, they actually give and flex a little. This allows them to to seal against the tile or material you are working on. I used them to caulk a shower and they worked perfectly. Definitely provided a much cleaner and professional finish. Much better than the finger method. I was pleasantly surprised by the set and would not hesitate to recommend these to anyone considering them.

First of all, What a great value in the sense of how I could change the outcome of my job from amature to Professional! When I've caulked before using my fingers as the finish tool, the outcome has always been a little subpar. The tools allow for a much stronger bead because it will not be a concave bead. leaves a cleaner surface with little mess to clean up. By angeling the tool a little bit, it will glide past the vertile grout line so the bead doesn't dip into each of the grout lines. Much better than taping too because that leaves a small edge where bacteria can form.

The first thing we tried to use ... didn't work. We use caulking every day. When you use various types and colors you normally don't use a full tube every day. We saw the red caps, 4 in the set, and thought these would work better than just using a piece of tape to seal the tip on the tube. Well, the caps are too small to fit any standard size tube of caulking we buy or use. Worthless. The other tools? We have not found where any of them work well in any situation so far. A finger or plastic spoon works better for us. Or just a simple putty knife.

This is basically everything you need to caulk something. Everything is made of a hard silicone and the blue pieces are all pretty resilient. The yellow spatula is a bit on the thin side, but it gets the job done.Its useful to have the caulking tube caps, but personally I jam a screw into the opening of any opened caulking tubes to store them. It creates an airtight seal, whereas these will not. They're good as temporary caps though.

You can see the difference in the two pictures. The ugly line is with my finger and accompanied frustration/cussing, the smooth beautiful line was with the tools. I purchased this kit along with a second softer spreading tool. As soon as I got the kits I could once again be a perfectionist. I love being able to make different size lines.Highly recommend cleaning your tools often, and dunking them in a bowl of soap water to reduce sticking.

I am not happy with these at all. It’s many pieces and I’ve tried every single one of them, with unsatisfactory results. I don’t know if it’s my walls that are maybe uneven, or what, but I couldn’t get a smooth line with these tools whatsoever. I ended up using my fingers for the entire project.

I used number 8 for my tub and it was a good amount.To clean silicone off hands and this item by either using a Clorox wipe or let it dry a little and then scrape it off.

Boy am I glad I bought this kit. For the money I was expecting some flimsy stuff. Every single piece in this kit is thick plastic and the finish is smooth. Anything you want to do in regard to caulking is in this kit. I used it in our shower that has glass doors and the walls are ceramic tile so there are a lot of different surfaces. I found 3 different pieces that worked perfectly. With this kit, my caulking project went fast, smooth and came out the best I've ever done.

I've found #9 and #10 are commonly used, but not many of the others. I use the flat edges of some to scrape away excess caulk but that's all.Great value for the money!
