100, The: The Complete Fifth Season (BD) [Blu-ray]

Didn’t think i’d get this far into the show but i’m hooked! This season was shipped and received fast. Exactly as described in listing! So glad i found it on amazon because the blu ray discs are hard to find for a decent price!

Each season, the show manages to renew enough while staying true to its concepts. Here again.A lot of new elements (Clarke’s daughter, the inmates...etc), still new strong dilemmas.The season isn’t without flaws, though. It was really hard for me to feel empathy for Clarke this season, as it was impossible for me to follow her choices. Fortunately, some other characters stayed strongly likable (Bellamy!).At the end, I still loved this new season. But I’m a bit worried for the future: expect a very strong twist at the end of season 5. A strong one, which proves the capacity of the show runners to take risks and to renew themselves, but, yep, they definitely took some risks for next season. I’ll definitely watch it, but it will be a tricky one. We’ll see. In the meantime, watch season 5 without fear. It is good!

This show should really be called “Clark Never Learns”. This season was shaping up to be the best yet, until the writers’ lazy cynicism once again raised its redundant head. [Spoiler ahead - although it’s entirely predictable for regular viewers of the show]....Main character Clark, whom we are apparently supposed to root for, makes a stupid, ill conceived, unconsidered and stupid secret deal with the group’s enemy, like she always does, which inevitably goes stunningly wrong, gets a ton of people killed and creates another few episodes worth of strife and tragedy. I haven’t gotten to the end of the season yet, but I have no doubt that we’re supposed to relate to Clark because she’ll justify it all with her “I had no choice” mantra. That’s the story every season, so I ‘spect it’ll be the same this time.The writers of this show have no sense of subtlety or nuance and very limited imaginations. Great sci fi, though, if you don’t expect an emotional connection to any of the characters and you pretty much ignore the redundant story arc.

Love the series and the DVDs came in a timely manner.

LOVE the show, hate the discs. Every one of them skips, I’ve had them replaced, and cleaned them. I only have this problem with this shows discs. I don’t understand

The plot takes a turn and the characters get to develop without with a new threat and solutionThis series finale well worth the build upGlad they left out most if the gay stuffI fast forward past that ... pretty sickening stuff to force people to watch if you're not gayI know people will say its just our modern world ...If that's the case they should graffiti the space ship and throw a few babies off of bridges.

I love this show and the characters so much, its one of my top five favorite shows and have watched all seasons more times then I'd care to admit. Worth the buy

The series has held my attention for the first episode, and this season kept me well interested. You think you know what is going to happen but the cork-screw of events keep you guessing. I am not giving out spoilers there are others that can do that, but I will say you won't be disappointed in the series. Also the theme music is great; if you have seen the series Prison Break, then the music here is a re-done version of it and sounds good.

This is the season of Octavia, she rules, her growth over the 5 seasons has been amazing and the other main characters certainly this season, take a backward step. Clarke's mum has become a drug addict helping the enemy to keep her drug supply coming, Cane betrays Octavia and Onekru, Bellamy tries killing Octavia but he has no idea what had gone on in the bunker for the past 6 years and even Clarke turns her back on Octavia and the other survivors in the bunker. Clarke's mum who created most of the problems in the bunker somehow gets a free pass and takes no responsibility for what she's done until the season is almost over and then only admits it to Clarke,
