My 9 year old lad has really enjoyed putting this robot together and using his tablet to issue commands and control the car around the house.the extra stuff it can do like play music and avoid obstacles works really well and his learnt a lot from it so far.hopefully the sellers can start selling the extra kits for it as quite pricey if you want to import them from America.

Bought as a gift for 9yr old girl at her request. Arrived promptly and seems to have gone down well but not constructed yet so cannot comment further yet.

Everything is okay, but drivers dose not work on Mac OS Catalina. This means you can not control from Mac.

Excellent starter kit for young children to lean about robotics. My 8 year old boy loves it.

Brilliant STEM activity for kids.

I bought this as birthday present surly quite expensive and slightly over charged however , it was interesting to build it and enjoy playing afterward , it's not complicated strait forward a bit of patience and you will get there .

Note: We purchased the extra LED screen version, but the app is the same.This is an excellent robot. It took a while to put together, around 2 hours in total, but much more fun than competing brands if you're building yourself. There were some difficult points, the locking nut requires you to hold on place while screwing in with a screwdriver, but instructions are very clear on the app, and 28 Lego-style steps later, the robot was fully functioning.It moves quickly across carpet or floor, but the real fun is in the programming of the robot using an app - Google store or iOS compatible.We had a few issues connecting via PC, you need a specific Bluetooth dongle which is a recommendation from me if using in a classroom (as in Cavalier mode the USB slot is covered by an arm), but we did manage it in the end, and the LED now shows a custom image when the robot turns on.Overall, a truly excellent product!
