Actually, I wished this came in a green, but otherwise that's my only complaint. It's just slightly smaller than a 10x10 but more manageable and the included wind wall (the roof and wind wall are one-piece) is a nice bonus. I'm 6'6", and need to bend just slightly to get under the canopy, but once I'm inside I can stand straight. It feels like it weghs about 10-15 lbs inside the backpack, and it can be set up with one person. It took me 9 minutes to set it up in the photo. The legs are made out of thin aluminum and can be bent out of shape, particularly where the push buttons are pressed to fold the legs. The canvas appears to be really thin so I would recommend taking it off each time you fold it.

We bought this before our recent vacation to the beach. Everyone in my family is pale and we burn very easily so overhead protection at the beach is a must. On prior vacations, we used beach umbrellas or similar types of shelter. Those take a long time to set up because of all of the "drilling" of the pole, building up a mound of sand around the pole when you dig the pole deep enough, only to mess up all of that work if you need to adjust it when the sun changes position in the sky or if there is a strong wind. There were many times that we ended up chasing umbrellas across several blocks of beach on a windy day. This shelter was wonderful! Setting it up was very easy and quick. It stayed put even on windy days. We didn't need to adjust it with the sun. The flap gave extra shade instead of the sun going in the shelter at an angle between the posts. It folds up to about the size of a spectator chair, so it doesn't take up much room. Be aware that this does have a lower profile so you can't stand up under it, but that was okay because we just laid out a beach blanket under it and we (all 4 of us) were able to lay and sit comfortably under it. My husband and I kept commenting to each other that this was one of the best purchases for vacation we have ever made! We definitely recommend this canopy!

Decided to take a jump and buy this canopy for alot of the outdoors activities I do, I live it in Texas so its melt your face off hot here. It is a quick and easy setup, with shade being available in minutes! I would definitely give this shade 5 out of 5 but it does have a few draw backs. It does not get tall enough to avoid bumping your head when coming into the canopy. I am not a tall guy myself but everyone I was using it with at least hit their head once making me chuckle a bit. You will also want to be sure you secure this down, everytime. I mean everytime. The wind took it once and completely ruined one of the legs making it completely broken, I ended up having to return it. The connecting rods are very very thin so any stress will break them. It is at a such great price point I would buy again but keep in mind my experience with the first unit. Always spike down the legs!

The shade works great. Quick to set up once you do it the first time to get the hang of it. Takes me under 5 minutes doing it solo. Much faster with a bit of help, but not required.It is not too heavy, but will get you tired if you carry it around for a while. Can be carried on your back, which helps.The shade itself is nice. Has three levels of height you can choose from. The highest setting is tall enough to walk under without ducking, if you are under 6 ft. It is wide enough to fit a foldable table and some seats. The legs are strong.I give 4 stars instead of 5 because of the bag. After only two uses, it is already falling apart a bit. However the shade itself is worth the price.

I would love this canopy if it would stretch properly across the frame.The legs pull a bit crooked while trying to set them up evenly .The springs of the legs were so hard to get even .... I imagine if it weren’t for that it would be perfect . If those two things were improved it would be perfect.I Believe this is what causes the canopy top to get saggy when it rains. The collection of water on canopy makes me have to repeatedly remove it off the frame to clean it.I Believe that if the frame would be more sturdy canopy would stretch more properly and therefore not sag and would reduce the process which I described above which is my only complaint.

Once you learn how to put it together one person can put it up in less than 5 minutes works great is very compact . Price is a little higher now than what you can find at other major stores but still not bad

I bought this last minute after debating for years about getting an easy up. This isn't that easy though. I picked this one specifically for the little shade that comes down on one side to help block out the sun in the morning/evening. The fabric is not attached to the easy up though. It's an extra step to put the entire thing together. It's not bad, and I'm still able to do it by myself (a little help from my kids helps it go faster though), but I'm not sure I'd recommend it to a friend or purchase it again if anything goes wrong.
