Nice colored pencils with a softness to them for blending or creating different depths of color.

We have a very artsy family so coloring pencils are sought after and fought over. This set was intended for my husband who is working on some art classes for middle and high school students, however my granddaughter just won an art contest at school so it only seemed fitting that she got them instead. She promptly created a sunset on the beach picture for me to celebrate. They sharpened fine. She was able to blend though not as well as some of our higher quality pencils. Overall they worked as expected. She is pleased and that is all that matters to me.

This set of 24 pencils has a nice variety of colors for such a small set. The pencils are plainly marked with a color name so you can swatch the colors.These pencils will give you fairly vibrant color, but it requires several layers or a heavy hand (or both) in order to achieve the saturated color you see in my quick swatch chart. The lead in some of these pencils is soft and some of them are a little scratchy. hey are not as soft and buttery as the most popular wax pencils, but they are not hard like an oil pencil either.I was able to achieve a decent blend with these pencils, but it requires patience and layers. These are not buttery soft and the wax will not "move" and squish together like some pencils do when blended. They are somewhere in the middle between soft wax pencils and hard oil pencils in how they handle.While these pencils do not lay down like a top of the line artist grade pencil, they are nice for a budget friendly pencil for drawing or coloring projects.

These colored pencils are so nice to use! They are not like regular colored pencils, they feel much softer and the color is more saturated. I really enjoy coloring with these pencils as they are much softer on the hand and they don’t make my hand all tired as other colored pencils do.I really like the colors included as there is a good variety. I appreciate that this set includes a pencil sharpener!

This set of 24 Manga colored pencils has a beautiful range of colors. I am not a colored pencil expert but I swatched some of these out and they blended with each other really well. The lead is soft and the pencils are easy to grip. I got these to include in the Samaritan Purse Shoebox Ministry to send toys to kids in other countries who dont really get any toys. Because I love art so much, I tend to collect lots of arts and crafts for the 10-14 year olds. I am thrilled to be able to include this set along with some art paper and adult coloring books. I feel like this set will be a hit for anyone that purchases it.

The colors in this set are great, and the pencils are of a good quality for the price. The more pastel shades are very soft when coloring, so it's designed for a light touch. Overall I am very happy with them.

Really great pencils. Not strictly for manga obviously, but the marketing makes it a little more fun for the weeb in your life. Good variety of colors, good value.

These are advertised as extra break resistant but I don't think that applies to the lead. In sharpening it, the lead snapped in a small hand sharpener.The colors are varied and bright. It's a mix of primary, secondary and pastels. The leads are fairly soft and will wear down quickly on a toothsome paper like coldpress.
