Regaining my grip
A couple of minutes a day and my wrists are feeling better. The built in starter is a nice feature. Every now and then it doesn't catch but a swear word or two seems to fix it. The one I had 40 years ago had a plastic ribbon that I had to keep track of and wind up on the rotor as a rip cord starter. This new method is much easier. The wrist loop is a nice feature too. It can get a little difficult to keep my grip on the ball after a workout and the strap gives me some peace of mind in case I drop it.I saw some reviewers mention that it was hard to start or wasn't working for them but this hasn't been the case for me; mine is working great. The motion is gentle and slow, like swirling an ice cube in a glass that you're holding from the top. As the rotor picks up speed I just have to grip the ball tighter and tighter, I don't have to spin it faster. That said, it did take a bit more practice with my non-dominant hand, but just a bit. Slow and easy. It's a nice way to relax with a light show as a bonus. Like a fidget spinner but with strength benefits. I'm loving mine.

Help with grip strength
The Gyro Ball is a fantastic stress-reliever and fidget toy! I love how smooth and satisfying it is to spin and manipulate. It’s not only fun but also great for strengthening your forearm muscles and improving grip strength with regular use. It’s perfect for anyone looking to boost their hand and forearm endurance while also relieving stress. The design is sleek, and it feels sturdy in my hands. It provides hours of entertainment and workout benefits in one small gadget. Highly recommend for stress relief and forearm strengthening!

Too hard to get working properly
I bought this on the advice of my chiropractor because he said it would work my wrist the way it needed to in order to help my arthritis in my hand but it's far to hard to work correctly especially if you already have issues with your hand and wrist. Product does not work right and was a waste of money

Pretty straight forward.
Works fine. Just as good as the more expensive Powerball I owned years ago. Reading the one star reviews makes me wonder if this gyro doubles as an IQ test! 😅

Works great and no batteries
Works great for not having batteries. Helped a lot with my wrists.

Random show of colorful lights - spend the time to figure it out - WORTH IT!
Love this wrist exercise ball. It takes about 5 minutes to get the motion required. Maybe there are some folks out there that will never be able to get a feel for it... sad for them. Once you do get it, you will be hooked. The lights are nice an bright... but if you think you will get a blue color (for example) when you spin it slowly and red when you go fast... YOU ARE WRONG. The lights are more like a random rainbow light show.

Excellent relief for arm pain.
I love this thing!I have some form of tennis elbow / carpel tunnel from sports and using a mouse/keyboard all day so I asked my orthopedist what I should try to strengthen my forearms. He recommended this gyro ball. I was very skeptical, but I was completely off base.I've been using it for the last month and it has dramatically improved the pain my arms. I use it for about 2 minutes on each hand every night while I'm watching TV. That's all it takes. Some observations: It's very hard to "get" the startup. It took me a good 3 days of practicing to finally understand how the ball builds momentum (my wife still can't do it). My advice, don't give up! It's worth it. Also, it's rather noisy if you go too fast. My kids can tell exactly what I'm doing from the other side of the house. Haha. Lastly, it's a tiny bit big in my hands. I'm 6' tall with "man hands" and it's still a touch big. It comes with a leash, but I have to exert some effort to hold it tightly. I wish it was a half-inch smaller in diameter. Other than those niggles, it's a great help for arm/hand maladies.

Worked amazing at first but broke within weeks
I was excited about using this to rehabilitate and strengthen my grip from playing instruments. Worked awesome at first, super smooth and definitely feel the burn...but then the internal ball stopped moving as much. total bummer. luckily it wasnt super expensive but they could reinforce some of the materials with higher quality stuff.
