The plastic case was poorly made on one and prevented it from switching on, once trimmed with a knife it worked ok. The mice went crazy in the first 2 or 3 weeks and caused several water leaks by chewing through pipes, 4 pipes in total. They do seem to have settled down with no leaks recently (fingers crossed). The question of if they work or not is a tricky one as the cats are still despatching mice when they come in, so there is obviously no substitute for a good mouser, for which we have two.If anything I would say they definitely stir things up for the mice, but as to a reduction, I am still dubious. The activity and noise does appear to have reduced, but that could be down to the feline sentinels that have chalked up several in the last few weeks. Anyway they are still plugged in and operating six weeks on.I have applauded it with three stars as I remain dubious, I think a markable difference would be noted if you had one installed in every room. I purchased just two which remain plugged in, but my money is still on the cats

This ultrasonic pest repeller works for us. We have a 3000 square ft house and we use two. I will move them around to see where they work best from time to time. We had a terrible ant infestation when we first moved into the house. Did not want to use pesticides so we tried ZNYSMART ultrasonic mouse repellers. For two years， no ants. I eventually stopped using the repellers. The ants came back， as bad as before. Got the repellers again and --no ants. Very satisfied. It is true what the company says: after you first plug them in the ants/pests will become much worse for a few days as they swarm out of the walls. Then they will be completely gone after that. At least that's how it worked for us. I recommend these very highly. Now we have one in the garage to help with mice. Seems to have thinned the mice down quite a lot so far.

Initially these worked really well to deter nice. However I found in winter I’ve see a nice here and there but not as much as before I bought this. I have also seen less mice dropping since using it in my home.

Saw a mice in the kitchen bought this after reading the reviews. Excellent have not seen the mice again. Bought 1for my friend and another to put in the cellar.first frequency is a bit loud use it at night time. 2nd is perfect for day time no noise.

They seem to have done the trick, the unwanted visitors seem to have packed their bags.

Did nothing for the spiders - they ignore it.
