I am a bit of a fountain pen geek… and usually only deal with top end pens. But this pen is amazing for the money. Smooth to write with, no scratchiness, just smooth, great ink to paper feeling, quite a wide track and that makes it more possible for calligraphic styles, but not a calligraphy pen. Just really good! I am really surprised. And… I chose the purple version, but that’s my taste and preference, but looks lovely and classy! A great gift for anyone, any age! Even yourself, you will be equally amazed at the value for money. If you have never used or bought a decent fountain pen….a fantastic starter… and indeed, addition to any experienced fountain pen user.

The nib (while a bit thick for my taste) is unbelievably smooth to write with straight out of the pack, and the plunger provided seems to work well with my ink. Recommended.

The wood has a nice feel and the pen is comfortable and easy to use. The nib is also of decent quality and the cartridges last longer than I expected.

Really nice pen, comfortable hand feel, takes standard small size cartridges, comes with 1 free blue cartridge but I put in one of my own black ones. M size nib. Very smooth writing, no skipping or scratching of the paper. I accidentally wrote can spare 1 spare nib in the barrel, what I meant to say is it can store 1 spare cartridge in the barrel while already loaded with one so makes it good for travel.If you write a lot with a fountain pen, this would be a great daily pen for you. The price point I feel is a little much for people just dabbling with a fountain pen, I'd put it at around more of the £10 range not £15-£20 depending on the price on the day when you buy it, I got mine for £16.85. I bought it in the green band colour and it's very nice and has a very foresty and earthy vibe to it.

I have the oak/green version and really like it. All the materials (wood, bio plastic) feel good in the hand. The pen is on the larger side but well balanced and light weight. On arrival I found the nib to need a little alteration. It was skipping a fair bit. Easily resolved with some micro mesh paper however. Now I find it quite a wet writing very smooth medium and enjoyable to use. A couple of small details I really like are: the stabilo logo on the large clip and the way the barrel screw always lines up properly to the nib due to a clever screw thread. I am very happy with this pen - I would get another if they made it in an extra fine.

The media could not be loaded.  What an absolute unit.Probably slightly bigger than it needed to be, but it's just gorgeous - all natural wood and mossy green.The ink flows perfectly, no scratchiness or wibbles - just a beautiful, constant flow. If you don't use it for a couple of days, it doesn't dry out, either. I've never had to flick the pen to try to get the ink flowing again.It comes with one royal blue ink cartridge, so I've bought a load of black ink cartridges, and it takes the standard size, so no worries there. Stabilo only seem to sell blue ink, for some reason, but these are the ones I ordered, and they fit perfectly: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01NAHKKU6/I used to use a fountain pen at school - had to - and hadn't really thought to ever since then, but now I'm using this pen as my every day pen, and it's a genuine joy. I smile every time I write with it and if you're on the fence (it's not cheap for what it is), I can't recommend it highly enough. It's just a tiny bit magical.

Easily fits to the hand. Nib is wet, consistent starter, nicely smooth, well built.

Très agréablement surpris par ce ce stylo-plume de marque Stabilo. D'abord très beau design, un corps en bois de chêne, bague verte et joli capuchon noir (plusieurs couleurs et bois existent). Il est d'une taille très bien conçue, assez gros, on l'a très bien en main (peut-être plus adapté aux mains masculines que féminines) et surtout une plume de qualité extrêmement agréable, d'une douceur sans équivalent. Le trait est moyen, exactement comme je l'aime, je déteste les plumes trop fines. Après plusieurs jours d'utilisation, aucun problème de séchage, le stylo démarre sans problème sans avoir besoin de le secouer ou de presser la cartouche pour le réamorcer, comme beaucoup d'autres stylos-plumes, malheureusement. Proposé à un prix tout à fait correct, il fait aussi bien, voire mieux que certains autres stylos de grande marque, 10 fois plus chers ! Il accepte les grandes cartouches de type Waterman.

Arriva in una scatolina di cartone riciclato, con in dotazione solamente una cartuccia standard di inchiostro blu: sbandierato ai quattro venti l'impatto zero sull'ambiente, forse era preferibile un assai più ecologico converter (di plastica riciclata pure quella, tiè!), ma vabé.D'altro canto, è una stilografica dichiaratamente economica; dallo stile minimale tendente al retrò-moderno nella linea, con un fermaglio sul cappuccio che pare affidabile come un bambino lasciato solo in un negozio di dolciumi; l'avvitamento della punta al corpo che deve fare "clic" a fine corsa per serrare bene, come i tappi dei serbatoi dei carburanti delle automobili (solo che quelli non sono fatti di semi ed olio per frittura); e l'incastro del cappuccio per nulla morbido e che per renderlo stabile bisogna forzare un pò ma serve a poco.La pubblicità la vuole all'evidenza indirizzata ad un pubblico di studenti. Però, siccome il punto forte dei Tedeschi che la producono non è certo l'umorismo, chisseneimporta: basta essere giovani dentro... ehm.. Tant'è che ad indurmi all'acquisto è stata l'estetica da pipa del nonno in versione nordica (o da cucchiaio di legno da ragù della nonna. Fate voi), ma senza troppe aspettative sulla qualità anche di scrittura: errore.Grosso errore.Infatti, vuoi per la leggerezza affatto prevedibile in considerazione del legno del fusto (pesa pressoché quanto una Lamy Safari, meno di una Lamy Nexx e se la gioca a dadi con la Kaweco Sport Classic), vuoi per l'ottima presa anche con una mano piccolina grazie all'impugnatura ergonomica, scrivere con questa stilografica, cappuccio calzato o meno, è come scivolare sul ghiaccio ma senza il freddo e con qualunque tipo di supporto cartaceo si usi.Il pennino rigido in acciaio (M per davvero, ossia dal tratto deciso ed abbondante e non avaro e dietetico come quello di una Pelikan o di una Parker) è come il Big Ben: non perde un colpo. Non esita, non inceppa, asseconda ogni tratto, carattere ed inclinazione e scorre deliziosamente fluido indifferente ai consumi da supercar Americana intanto che fa la linguaccia alla Lamy Safari che, finora imbattuta economica da battagliera scribacchina, comincia a tremare in questo derby tutto teutonico in cui, all'attualità, pare destinata a soccombere al cassetto delle penne in disuso.
