perfect for small camcorders and action cams
This inexpensive rig is good for camcorders and action cams that are getting smaller and lighter all of the time., because it helps to steady handheld shots. Cameras, DSLRS included, can be fixed securely at various stations along the bottom rail and at any angle making it easy to get a good balance. Depending how you fix the camera, the rig is good for panning and/or low angle shots. With a bit of care you can simulate simple crane shots, but this is not a specialist piece of equipment such as a steadycam so you have to have a good grip and a steady hand, especially with tracking shots. Nevertheless, it is better than handheld alone, adding a bit more weight that aids control. The rig has 3 loops attached fore and aft to which some kind of lanyard could be attached to further aid a steady shot. On top of the rig is a shoe to hold a mic off camera and avoid any motor vibrations that the camera may generate. The rig feels quite solid with a ruberised foam grip that feels of good quality. You can pay very much more for a rig that does little more than this one, so it represents really good value for money. There is a standard 1/4 inch thread under the rig for attaching to a tripod.

Item is robust and light, however base screw for the camera is 2mm longer than required and does not seat my Nikon D750 or D3200 tightly, leaving movement on the runner.2mm washer required under the base plate screw to secure the cameras properly. Baseplate screw is also awkward to move around inside the runner and requires some effort to set to desired position. Not tested on other camera equipment.Mount WILL NOT hold a SLR with Battery grip or allow for a quickplate based to be attached unless the camera is smaller than a D750.

You're not going to like the finishing
Horrible product. This was one of more than 20 camera related products I had purchased for our office studio setup. The finishing is cheap and that's visible throughout the product and how it feels. The horseshoe on top almost broke the directional microphone we connected to it and we had to meticulously try to detach them for a good 15-20 minutes afterwards. If that wasn't enough, and I never thought I'd see myself writing this on an Amazon review, but the item smelled like as if it was in a cigarette-filed room for weeks.

A nice addition for a budding photographer or film maker.
Purchased as a gift for Christmas. Packaging wise this came in a plain white cardboard box for me, although I think I prefer that to the packaging seen in the video one other reviewer has posted as I felt that made it look a bit cheap. The item looks exactly as it does the photographs, with a standard 1/4 by 20 inch thread. At first I wasn't sure if there was enough length to hold the camera, it's a little fiddly but once it screws in the tension keeps the camera in place. It's very study and feels of decent quality build. You can't really call this a stabilizer in the traditional sense, but it will be very handy for low shots and does provide a bit of smoother flow with some practice.

Nice solid item with adjustable base for balance.
Great item, very solidly made and with mounts on the top and the bottom it provides great flexibly of use.I have the camera on one and lights and mic on the top one. Adjustable mounting on the bottom allows you to adjust the balance of the whole thing.Provides a great filming base, providing smooth movement. I put it on a skateboard and it was great,

Sturdy Camera Handle
I was slightly sceptical about this item, mainly because of the price. I have to say, its very good for the price. It feels very well made and to be honest, I would have been happy to pay double the price that I did. One small note though - the amount of pace between where the camera sits and the top hand is daily small. I have a sony alpha a3000 camera, and there really isn't much space between the top of the camera and the handle. This isn't a problem for me, but could be an issue if you have a bigger camera.

Does the job!
Pretty easy review this one, the price was good, the product is great and overall serves the job perfectly. Used on a few shots and has always given me smooth low shots so very happy. For the price the construction is to be expected but i was very surprised as its a lot stronger than i first thought so in this case dont let looks fool you.

Slightly disappointing
It is difficult to review this product. It does provide a slight stabilisation but for me not enough. Especially if you are not using a STM lens.If you are a learner and have patience it might work for you, but it would probably be wise to spend a little more money for a product that stabilises better.I haven’t actually used mine since.
