The hold-down screws are too small for the holes, so reliable accuracy is impossible
When folks are saying it's 90 degrees square on these reviews, they are mistaken. It seems well machined, the piece that fits in the track is reasonably snug with just a tad of play, could probably put a bit of tape on one side and it would be fine. But the hold-down screws that go through this piece after going through the plate itself are a good 0.25mm (Including thread) smaller than the holes they go through in the plate, which are not threaded. This is enough to induce a significant error, and whenever you screw it down, the plate will not be 90 degrees unless very lucky. You can then take a right angle to square it manually, OK, but no matter how you tighten down the screws, it's still quite easy to move the rail square out of square against the track. there's too much play. I don't understand why they didn't use smaller holes that are threaded for the hold-down screws go through, like on the piece that fits in the track.Shame, 'cos almost very worth the money. Avoid, unless you have a solution to this problem you can engineer yourself (I'm going to see if I can find something to pack the holes with, maybe put a bit of electrical shrink tube in the hole and then force the screw through it).

Perfect
This item is perfect for the job. It’s compatible with my Makita rails and is square.Branded alternatives are over £100 so this is a real bargain.

Great buy
Cannot fault this. A faction of the price of the festool version and does the exact same thing. lines up 100% at 90 degrees every time

Not accurate.
I was so looking forward to this what I thought to be a game changer, it is strong and well engineered and fits nicely to the track, that’s about all I can say for the good side of it. I connected it to my shorter track marked a line then flipped ends and placed it against the line I marked and found the it was out about 2mm over 600mm.
