The product description is not accurate
I bought this twice and the first time I received a case of two 12-packs this time I only received one 12-pack box. The product description clearly shows 2 cases and even calls out that I would be getting 24 XMREs.I am very unhappy with this purchase since I am unable to return it.Colin

Little overpriced for what you get but good.
So i got these since the military surplus ones have gone bonkers price wise or are from iffy sources at this point. First of all. The FRHs in these beat the pants off the military ones though need a lot more water to use. Second they are a bit less food then military versions and the lack of coffee, condiments and such really does hurt these in terms of value imo. Though unlike the military folks i can pretty easily suppliment them which helps. They taste as good or in some cases better then the military ones just due to freshness though some items like the chickpeas are a bit meh and there are some HDR peices to them judgeing by the silver packageing or even civvy drink mixes which is fine. The salt and pepper in every single one i have gone to eat however have all burst which is a bummer and several packages internally were poorly sealed on at least 4 of 24 so far such as tortillas fully out of the package or cookie bits all over. None of the mains or wet sides like cobbler have leaked yet thankfully and being sealed as well as the main bag was nothing rotted or went bad but still.Lastly all but 2 of mine have lot codes from the middle of 22 with the 2 being late 21 which means they are at least a year old. Not a deal breaker as i got what was advertised for the most part (2022 ration) but something to be aware of. They also dont seem to have the side effects of the military ones. Had to eat nothing but these for a full 2 weeks due to a rough patch in my fianances and where as the military ones have the well known moniker of meals refuseing to exit for a reason these were perfectly fine.Overall id say for a civvy ration these are pretty good but they arent upto the military spec, and on my batch at least quality control was a little lacking. Which means the price is pretty high for what you get. Id still buy them again though especially if i can get them on a sale. 4/5 stars overall from me. If the QC had been better or they had the extras from the military version they would be a solid 5/5

Good
The MREs I received from seller GlobalEcom were packed 123 days ago, which in my opinion is acceptable. I'm not going to open these cases up for a while, but there was no exterior damage or signs of tampering.I haven't had the 2022-pack-date ones yet, but in the past I've been satisfied with XMRE; I think that they're the best private MRE producer. In my experience, every menu is reliably close to 1300 calories, and the components are more wholesome (i.e. less full of cheap sugar and fat) than competitors.
