Beautiful color, I like it so much.

I have very bleached blond hair and it's time for a change. Trying to get back to my natural color which is a dirty blond with a tint of red. Terrified of red dye since my skin tone has red undertones I didn't want it to clash I decided to use a neutral color. I went with the darkest blond - Latte 7N. It's easy to do. My 14 year old who wants to go to school for cosmetology dyed it for me. I have super thick long hair but only my top layers are blond. The underneath of my hair is my natural color. So I only dyed my blond. There sre a few pieces I will have to reapply that didn't get color applied (that's just the inexperience of the 14 year old). I am sold I will absolutely buy this for ever and ever. New me! 😉

I have short hair so there is plenty of product to cover my hair. I left it in for 30 minutes, washed it out and still have a lot of gray. Not thrilled, especially for the price. Cheaper perm hair dye has done a better job than this.

I've been coloring my own hair for over 50 years. I've used mostly store bought hair dyes that include everything needed. IGK failed to include shampoo to use after dying. As I read through various other comments not including quite a few standard products is a continuous failure. For what you pay for the box of color everything from pretreating to conditioning should be included.Additionally, mixing the product was difficult. I would continually have to keep shaking the bottle or it would gel and become difficult to squeeze out. I ended up just pouring the mixture into my hand and mixing.

There is a lot to love about the IGK Color Permanent Color Kit. I tried the Latte (7N) color from this brand for the first time. My hair was a chocolate brown (6.77) from a different brand, with dark brown roots showing and quite a bit of gray hairs by my temples. The IGK color kit did a great job coloring my darker roots and it toned down the brassiness from my previous coloring. What it did not do though is cover my grays completely. I followed all instructions and made sure the coloring covering my roots and grays stayed on for the full 45 minutes. I first colored my roots/gray, and then after 15 minutes I colored the rest of my hair, leaving it on for another 30 minutes. The color block barrier gel worked amazingly well. I usually paint my forehead and my ears quite a bit with other kits, but I found no coloring there with this kit as I applied this gel first. The gel worked so well that I did not have to use the stain-removing cleanser that is also included in this kit. I also loved that there were no harsh smells when I was applying this color kit. In addition, my scalp did not get irritated; there was no tingling. These are all very positive characteristics of this product, which are quite important to me. However, after washing out the coloring crème, my hair was extremely dried out. It literally felt let hay. I was a tad concerned about the amount of conditioner that was provided, but after combing through my hair, the conditioner felt like a foam and enveloped all my hair. That being said, my hair only comes up to my shoulders, so I think somebody with longer hair would not have enough conditioner to cover all their hair. Now that my hair is dry, it does still feel quite dry. So, I am giving this product 4 stars because of the color block barrier gel, the lack of hair smells and scalp irritation, and because it did color my darker roots well. I deducted a star because it did not cover all my grays, which is the main reason why I color my hair. I think this kit will work well for people who just want to change up their color a bit, but if you have gray hair, you may need a different coloring kit.

I really like how this color turned out. I have naturally dark brown hair and was looking for something lighter. This was the perfect shade. It was easy to use and my didn't damage my hair.

When I opened my package one of the 2 boxes was already open cause the seal was broken and there was product all over the box.
