ORLIT TR-612N TTL 2.4Ghz Transceiver RoveLight RT 610 - Nikon

I bought the 610 with the canon trigger. I got the light quickly and right on time. There was an issue with packaging I'm going to call Adorama about but I fired the strobe up and everything is operational.I'm not a fan of the orlit trigger overall and it didn't sync with all my canon 600s. One of my flashes wouldn't sync and I'm sure it's because it has a newer version of the firmware(I had to update the firmware on my YN trigger to get them to sync). My YN trigger won't sync with the Orlit, but my canon trigger will sync with all my 600s and the Orlit at the same time.I haven't had a ton of time to play with it but I threw on a 170 cm (69") softbox and the light was more than enough to fill that up. Outdoors in open shade I was shooting at 1/16th power. If you've only ever shot with speedlites, this thing is bright.I've found that you don't need to turn anything off if you walk out of range to get it to sync. On the orlit just cycle through the radio settings and when you get back to canon it'll sync. It's faster than powering off and on the light.I've uploaded a few shots of me just testing the light. I'll report back after I've used it a few times.

I bought some Orlit Studio Strobes that require this remote trigger. It was a great deal in the lights and trigger.
