These are the best fender covers I have used! The hooks are what make them so great. Other covers, even if they have magnets or grooves to hold the cover in place do not stay on while working. Never had to adjust these once they were hooked on. To be honest, I don't think the magnets really matter if you use the hooks.The material is very soft on the inside and tough on the outside, like soft leather. Very flexible material too. They are long enough to cover the entire side of a fender and all the way down. Others are way too short on all dimensions. I used these to remove an engine.I purchased three to cover all sides of my fenders. Best product out there. Definitely recommended.

These fender covers work great, and are priced right.The magnets aren't much account, but the hooks hold them in place nicely. The vinyl on the outside is durable, and spill proof. The fabric on the back is soft and won't scratch the finish on the car.

Just got mine today.. and it's sitting outside to air out. I has a smell to it when you first take it out of the bag.What I like about it is, it is WIDE, good to lay on my Silverado fender. With the new trucks(2017), I wish it could be maybe 32"-36" in length. Also, like others said, magnets could just be a tad stronger(not earth magnet strong), with just the magnets, it's easy to move this around, probably reason for the hook. Which by the way, I like, makes up for the ok magnets.The underside is nice and seems like it would protect the finish, but it says it's thick, and I have another fender cover, and this one is much thinner than that. So, I would say this is not thick, it's almost or about the same thickness as my chamois towel, maybe a hair thicker.

It's a good balance for casual projects where you might be under the hood for a while. Light and easy to store, but feels like it's durable enough to offer some protection for the paint. Has hooks that are the right length to allow for many hooking location options. i love that it's magnetic.

These covers are nice and lightweight but be mindful of magnets will cause problems for paint... Left cover attached overnight and had round spots where magnets were.. And would not come out with ordinary wax...

I bought it primarily to work on my 1935 Ford, these have real fenders that need to be protected when working on the engine. The magnets help keep the mat in place and it protects the finish when leaning on the fender, especially when you drop that tool or socket. I also learned to use it on my other cars to protect the finish when I lean the fender side. It has withstood a lot of abuse being used (any mechanic knows what I'm saying) and the the price is right.

Had a window stuck down on a car and didn't want to place tape my paint job, so this worked very well and my son, who is mechanic will get some use out of them once my old roadster is repaired. Well packed and good quality material, the magnets are not super strong, but they hold the item in place.

Covers a large area and the magnets are really strong. Time will tell if they hold up in the shop (they're bound to see alot of use and abuse). For now they do an excellent job at being fender covers.
