Great for stand up desks
I have a stand-up desk; if you have one, you may notice the absence of storage on most of them. This is a great addition to alleviate that shortcoming. It has a pencil tray and an enclosed pull-out basket. It also has storage for notebooks or writing pads. It is very sturdy and well-built.

Vertical Space Gift! Love my shelves!
I got this little number while looking for organizational solutions during a course I was taking. It offers a specific process to organize and manage my business life with less stress. I needed an IN and OUT and a location for READY TO FILE. They suggested a stacked bin on my desk. Well, I am not willing to share my desk any more than I am with other techie things, so utilizing the verticle space under my desk was brilliant. It holds folders lengthwise, and binders top to bottom perfectly (the image is silly for the product, who puts folders with items standing up that way? everything falls out!) I did utilize a strip of rubberized shelf liner to keep it from slipping around if I happen to bump it with items on top. I haven't lost any desk space and since I have a simple desk (no drawers) for art, drafting, and computers, it works perfectly. NOW, I need to use it the way the program is attempting to train me!

Not bad, but could be better!
I have an office with a huge L-shaped desk that doesn't have drawers (?!) and one bookshelf. I didn't want my desk to be cluttered with a bunch of stacking letter trays that blocked my clients' view of me (and vice versa) if we are meeting. I found this and thought, "Heck yeah! Reverse the trays--instead of up, they go down!" Since my desk has no drawers, I have plenty of under-desk space to put things like this.So... I buy it. Generally speaking, it's a good product. I like that it doesn't hang down so low that it cracks me in the shin every time I shift in my chair. But it does extend down pretty far, so I put it underneath all the way at the edge of the desk. I haven't had a problem with my shins or thighs.HOWEVER, it slides around a lot. To be fair, I did not anchor it to my desk with the screws provided because I was worried about scratching or putting little punctures in the desk's surface. So it slides. If I move a cord that's laying on top of it, it slides. If I pull something out of it at less than a straight-on angle, it slides. I'm always pushing it back to the edge of the desk. I would have liked to have seen some rubber stoppers (adjustable or not) underneath that touch the underside of the desk that would help it slide less and make it feel more sturdy. So I learned to only put things in it that I wouldn't use all the time. I have some plastic project pockets in it right now. I'll probably put a reference manual in there or something, too--it would be easily accessible, but I'm not always grabbing it. My one major dislike is something unavoidable, honestly, and I can't lower my rating because of it. I hate the flat surface on the top that slides over the desk. It makes everything uneven, and it's a pain to try to work around it because it slides so much. I feel like I lose that square footage on the desk surface, so I might as well have put a 4-tray letter organizer on top of the desk. So, to recap: I gave four stars. It's pretty good and would probably be better if it was properly anchored, but I also didn't want to destroy my desk. Sturdiness: So far it seems sturdy, but it feels less so because it's not properly anchored. Value for money: It was what i think is more expensive than normal for something comparable. In other words, a 4-tier letter organizer to sit on my desk would cost half as much, so I think as far as value goes, it's meh. Durability: I've had it about a month. I have no idea. But at hasn't fallen apart after I constantly push it back to the edge of the desk, so that may be saying something.Overall, I think you'd have to buy it and see if it "worked" for you. I think it's hit and miss and it all depends on your work style, your organization system, and other things unique to you. Despite how much I complain in this review, I would tell my co-workers to buy it and see if it works for them, and if it doesn't, return it.

Handy
This is a pretty handy item. I keep binders of various household paperwork and had them all piled up. I have a shelf over my desk and I have this hanging from it. I love it! I can easily keep my binders organized and they aren't constantly falling over. I also like that I can still use my shelf and put things on it and yet have this additional storage that I can grab while sitting at my desk. The quality is great as well.

Just what I needed
I needed something in which I could place my iPad & accessories, phone, paper notebooks, etc., to keep them from piling up on the table surface. Plus, the table top is glass, so the items had to not harm the glass and yet still hold.It was a little more expensive than I would have liked, but it was the right size and shelf arrangement for my needs. It was not difficult to attach; however, the photo shows that the little arm that attaches to the table top is supposed to hit at an angle, but I couldn't get it to do so. The item is sturdy, but sometimes it pivots/swivels to the side if I accidently knock its edge, even though the attachment arm is in the tightest position. Granted, the glass table top is only about 1/2" thick. This is the only con about this product. It still stays attached to the table very well (doesn't detach or slide off). I'm so glad to have something in which I can store and access items, but can also be easily transferred to a different table or desk if I decide to set up elsewhere.

Did what I needed it to do: add storage to a standing desk.
I bought this product to provide additional storage for my standing desk. It works well. All that is required is a little desk space. The metal top is relatively flat (about 1/8 of an inch in height), so it does not take the desk space away). Installation is very easy and the position does not shift when I raise or lower the desk. It is not perfect, but I do not require perfection to give a five star. Five stars to me means it did what I expected and the price is reasonable.Plus, it has a pretty good look for an office.

Functionally sound, awful installation
I ordered the 2 tier model of this product - the one that screws under the desk. Product design is awful for installation. The screw holes are nearly impossible to access to insert screws without a tiny right angle screw driver which is not included. Functionally sound product and serves its purpose well but be ready for a frustrating installation process. On top of the difficult positioning, the screws became stripped while trying to screw it in initially because of the awful angle.
