I got these cause they looked like they were decent quality and they were cheap. Turns out I was right. These are great clippers that are very easy to use. They clip my cats claws with ease and he never flinches or anything when I cut. They are very sharp, have large heavy blades and require little pressure to clip. Definitely a great product for the price.

Easy grip. It does the job without damaging the nail, but once or twice I felt the cut could have been cleaner.I think a cheaper nail cutter would do an equal job, as long as it's not fraying the cut nail. One vet I saw just used human nail clippers and that worked too, but obviously it depends how agreeable your cat is to start with. Mine has issues with any clipping implements. It's hard to get her to sit still.

I love these scissors I clip my kitty's nails with these. I used to hate cutting my cat's nails with cheaper scissors because the ones I bought from major petstore were just not doing a good job and my cat's nails always ended up all splitting from the tip. Since I bought this scissors, my effort and time was cut in half! This scissors clips gives the tip of nails very clean-cut. no more splinters.

I have clipped cats' nails for 20+ years with nail scissors, and the only problem I've had is that they quickly become dull. I was hoping the UGroom scissors would stay sharp longer. They may, but I'm not going to use them twice. They SHRED my cat's nails, which became apparent over the days following the clipping. The poor guy had to sit through another trimming (and painful) with a pair of old scissors to cut off the split and ragged ends before the nails got caught on something and split further into the quick. These may work for dogs, but I warn against using them for cats.

Gave it two stars for the comfortable handle.Both my cats claws splintered....not very sharp...not any sharper than what I have purchased in the past at a pet store or walmart. Unfortunate!!! I was hoping for something better.

These work great on my cats' nails. They trim accurately without crushing the nail. Much easier, faster and more accurate than using a human nail clippers, and my cats seem to tolerate it better. I also used them (very carefully) on my rat's claws with great results. I would definitely recommend these for cats and small animals.

Just cut all four of my cats' claws with these. They are a bit big but still do the job very well. Two of my cats are 9 months old, not little kittens but still quite small and I did not have a problem with these. Might be a bit too big for a small kitten, but they will grow, and many full grown cat's claws are as thick as a dog's, I've had both. I like the size of the finger holes, I have pudgy hands and fingers lol, they fit no problem. My pair was loose enough to open and close easily and tight enough to make a good clean cut, maybe each pair is different (speaking for a few bad reviews from kitty owners). I can only speak for the ones I got and they are nice, a rounded clipper like this is better for a cat claw, it doesn't crush the claw and, as I said, cuts clean. I would recommend and buy again.

This product is just too big for a kitten or small cat. The large size was evident in the ad (obvious picture of a dog), and acknowledged in many of the reviews, but I chose to believe the people who said they were using them for their cats with no problem.. It was a bad decision on my part, and I will return them. On the plus side, they were well made with good grips.
