Baseball Mogul 2010 - PC

I was eagerly looking forward to trying 2010 especially when I learned I could download games from other versions into this new one. To date I have still not figured out how to do that nor does the game make the procedure clear. As for gameplay; it is very similar to my version of 2008 with some minor updates. The depth chart is very convenient, but the tag-up window can be somewhat tedious. It's nice to have the option, but being asked if you want a runner on 1st to tag up on a liner to right is kind of a no-brainer. I also don't like the fact that you can't use fictional players with real team names. Otherwise I find the game enjoyable and sometimes even comsuming. It will be interesting to see what they come up with for 2011.

Easy to load ... historically accurate ... feature rich ... do newer versions have characterization in game Sims and play-by-play? Love it.

The game was fun, but did not allow me to create the team I wanted. OOTP was better game in my opinion. OOTP had more options to make teams and more options for manager and GM

Very good management style game play, with more options than older versions. Would like to see more flexible league design and scheduling options in later releases.

I haven't personally played this game, but my son loves it! He loves having choices on who is on his team, etc. Definitely worth the $4 I paid for it. I'm actually surprised it is such a nice game for him given the price. I was afraid it wouldn't work well and he'd get frustrated. Seems happy with it! So this is a good game for my elementary aged child. No idea how it would work for adults.
