Happy with the product!
I just got the Nanit Pro camera with the floor stand and also the sound and light monitor. The products came on time and packaging was seamless! The camera and the stand come together in the option I got (sound monitor separetly) and box was quite organized and ready to assemble (quite intuitive and easy as it is a stand after all, but still glad didn’t need endless screws as the stand parts have ‘plug and play’ connections).A few points I liked:1 - The app setup was simple and really took like five minutes to get the camera connected and working2 - Image was nice and clear in lighter and darker rooms so I don’t expect issues there. Bear in mind it is not like your 4k tv. It is a baby monitor and the camera looks like that. Me particularly don’t need more.3 - For the sound, it is good but need to still test further in quieter environment to see sensitivity (will update when more tests done).Cons1 - not really a con, but cord could be a little bit longer. I guess it depends on your room after all.I’ll need to use for more time to comment on any connectivity issues (didn’t face any so far) and improvement of baby sleep quality, but for now I am happy with the camera!

Well worth the price
The Nanit Pro Smart Baby Monitor has truly made a difference for our family. The video quality is amazing—super clear in both daylight and at night—and the two-way audio is great for calming our baby without having to walk into the room. One of our favorite features is the Breathing Band; it tracks our baby’s breathing motion without attaching anything directly to them, which gives us real peace of mind. The Nanit app is user-friendly and works well on both iPhone and Android. It gives us helpful sleep insights, alerts for movement and sound, and even tracks room temperature and humidity. We’ve learned so much about our baby’s sleep habits just by checking the app.We went with the floor stand instead of mounting the camera, and it's been a solid choice. It's sturdy, easy to set up, and keeps cords neatly tucked away—totally baby-safe.Some features do require a subscription after the free trial, but honestly, the sleep tracking and video history are worth it for us. It’s definitely a bit of a splurge, but the peace of mind and extra features make it feel completely justified. If you're on the fence—go for it. We’re so glad we did.

Yes yes yes
Would not trust another brand. I love the Nanit it has given us peace of mind with our children. It’s so easy to use and the app to myself and wife is easy to use. The quality of the image depends on your WiFi and depends on the height you have the camera. We have not had many issues other than connection issues because of our internet provider (spectrum) I can’t speak for battery life as it’s connected to a wall. We have had great success with the Nanit and have even bought another for our second. I do wish they had a combo package for the subscription but I feel like they are working on it.

You pay a lot for a barely-functional service
If you've got more money than sense, this is a simple baby monitor that promises you plenty of features and delivers on very few. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere for basic features, and especially if you're looking for stability and reliability. This product, and indeed the company that sells it, is designed to separate first time parents from their money by selling peace of mind in convenient add-on packages. Everything is designed to nickle-and-dime you for each potential feature, including all of the features they promise in the description. It is very unclear that this is the case until you actually install and use the app. I am not exaggerating when I tell you that you will only be buying this product as an introductory charge -- It costs $300/year extra to store videos for 7 days. The most basic features are pay-gated behind nonsense fees. The package you get for buying this overpriced monitor only lasts a few months, and then all of your features get disabled if you don't fork up another payment.Want sleep tracking? Pay extra. This barely works, by the way. The Nanit app says the baby's fast asleep even if they aren't even in the crib.Want breathing tracking? Pay extra. Also it only works with their specific Nanit-brand clothing.Activity tracking? Pay extra. How about the Day Dashboard? Well, that's included as long as you use the wall mount. If you found the wall mounting sub-par and vaguely unsafe like a lot of these reviewers, you'd probably be better off buying the Multi Stand (which of course costs extra) to replace the wall-mount, and safely placing it out of the baby's reach. If you've changed mounting stands, the Day Dashboard feature is not available anymore, even if it's mounted at an identical location and orientation. There's an online portal so you can view your cameras in a browser, but it does not work 80% of the time and will present you with a loading screen. It will also kick you out every few hours and enforce a new MFA log-in using your phone, completely nullifying the benefit of this feature. The physical design of the the wall mount is a cheap cable-hider and a wall-attaching head unit with a chip in it to tell the camera you bought the stand and not one of their significantly cheaper (and more reliable) competitors. It's flimsy, and eager to fall apart at a moment's notice. The camera head isn't attached by anything substantial, just two prongs and a USB C power connector. It will fall off frequently if you don't tape it on with electrical tape. The camera has no batteries, and will fail the moment the head unit is disconnected from a power source, which will frequently happen due to small vibrations. So what exactly are you paying for? A half-working baby monitor and the privilege to buy additional add-ons for each of the features they list in the description. The company would be happy to send you marketing on all of their products, and some of the easily-searchable tips on baby care for free though! If you purchased the monitor ahead of the baby's birth, you cannot return it. Stylish paperweight, though.
