EVELO Aurora Electric Bike with NuVinci N360 Drivetrain & 500W Motor Package, Black

I have purchased two of these Auroras for my wife and myself. We use them primarily for vacations on an island where travel is easier on bike than car. I'm 65 and not in particularly good health and my wife is 63, in much better health. Our experience with the bikes themselves is just wonderful. Easy to use and smooth operating with the NuVinci transmission. I can get to the assist's 20 mph without breathing hard on pedal assist 5 (highest) and I'm over 300 lbs! My wife can get to 20 in a strong headwind on PA 3. My only criticism has to do with the rack mounted on the battery pack. It is way too narrow and should be positioned rearward of where it is as the seat can interfere with its use. The panier sold by Evelo is junk and is more likely to fall off than stay on. Alto the tube of the frame for this model is big enough to thwart usage of many bike lock holding brackets. These are minor things, though and should not take away from the biking experience itself, which, IMHO, is just fine. Highly recommended.

Thank you very much to everyone at EVELO, I absolutely love my new Aries bike, with more than 177 miles and counting on my new wheels, with each pedal stroke I take, I am even more pleased with my new bicycle. I have been riding over 22 miles/day. I'm now able to travel further, climb greater inclines and pedal light to moderate terrain that before would of been a lot more challenging or down right inaccessible living in higher elevation in my city. I look forward to many more years of enjoyment on my EVELO bicycle. Evelo Electric bicycles aren't replacing bicycles, they are replacing cars.The greatest component EVELO has is the amazing customer service. You won't be disappointed, these e-bikes are spectacular. I can't wait for all the snow to melt and get back on the road.

I did a lot of research before I purchased the Evelo Aurora and Aries Electric Bikes with the NuVinci 360 hub. I can tell you first hand that these bikes are absolutely fantastic and priced very competitively. We have used them many times and have found them to live up to all the claims made about them that are posted on the Evelo website.
