Way better than using a knife.
It slices my apples just fine. The only issue i have is that the blade doesnt cut all the way through the apple. once it cuts through the apple the bottom part is still left intact so it still attaches the slaces to the apple. I have to pull off the slices from the bottom. I dont mind but im wondering if that is a defect.

Wonderful Little Thing
Gosh, I love this little thing, I don't know how I got along without it! I just treated myself to it and I have used it and used it! I use if for apples and pears. And I have found that I truly like my apples cored and cut into pieces when I eat them. I then sprinkle the apple with a bit of cinnamon and it's a delicious treat! It's not that I couldn't core an apple before; I just didn't. Now I do. It makes a big difference in a little thing.

I'm in college and did not want to buy an expensive slicer. Not exactly heavy duty, but it gets the job done. I do find that since the handles are made mostly of a plastic material they bend whenever I'm slicing something. I haven't had either of them break though.

Easy to handle
Bought this for our kids to be able to slice apples for themselves without risk of cutting themselves. Easy to handle, good grips and cuts great. Only improvement would be to have the center ring that cuts out the pit stick out a bit further to thoroughly cut of the slices.

i love this
I love this! Never liked apples very much, I guess partly because I didn't like biting into them. Now I slice up an apple and take it to work with cheese. The apple tastes much better ( the cheese helps). The tool itself is easy to use and clean. Nice that it removes the core, too.

Works as described on the 12 or so apples that have fallen victim to it over the last couple weeks. Time will tell how it holds up.

Good product
I like this a lot, sometimes I get an apple that it does not cut through, all the way to the bottom.
