Does a very good job at keeping the sun off the back of your neck - cooler in direct sunlight and high temps.

works well, only problem is that it needstove broken in, some what stiff at firstgreat product for keeping hot sun off face/ears/neck. I recommend highly, as useful part of PPE for outdoor workers.

My boyfriend works outside & he wears long sleeves & does all that he can to avoid sun on his skin so he doesn’t burn. I wanted something that not only helped with covering his face & next from the sun but was construction work friendly. This being a hard hat & reflector was perfect, it covers his face & next from the sun & keeps him safe in his work environment.

Will have to get a hard hat in order to use.

Good product for a great value. It works best to use the sun brim on a full brim helmet with a back & front protruded brim to hook the cloth over, otherwise you better have at least a front brim helmet with side slots for the Velcro to straps to attach to. No rear brim means it will be loose & flap around in the back. I was skeptical but its a decent made product that lets a breeze come in behind the neck cloth, which adds fair but not complete neck coverage. Its very wide & foldsup into a 6 inch circle when not needed. Popped me in the face when I unfolded it, ha. The fit was perfect on my new purchased full brim helmet. The front cloth sorta gets close to your brow where sweat can saturate it if not altered. The back attached white storage cloth on the brim looks as if it will collect sweat. It offers medium rain run off, but not like a brahma brim. Helps keep the uv rays off, it will serve its purpose.
