Dont work with wet or damp items, like meat or fruit.
For butcher paper these sure hold and pass liquid very easily.

This is a huge roll. I have 4 grandchildren and are always needing to keep busy. I pull ut some paper, markers, crayons, gel pens and they go to town. It keeps them busy for hours, each expressing their natural abilities. It will last for years.

Not 40 lb paper.
Regular copy paper is twenty pound. This paper is advertised as forty pound e.g., twice the thickness of copy paper. Not so. It is twenty pound at best and certainly not as durable as copy paper. I am disappointed and a bit irritated but it is not worth returning.

This is NOT butcher paper
This is thin paper which tears easily and fluids soak through. I use it for my messy cat to eat his canned food on and it soaks through unlike other rolls of 40lb paper I have bought on Amazon. Shipped fine (no damage) and timely but not what I thought I ordered.

Not 40 lb. paper
I have used 40 lb. paper in my plotter before without issues. This paper rips and crumples easily. This is definitely not as heavy as the 40 lb. paper I have used before. Virtually useless.

While it works in the classroom, this is very thin paper. I probably would not purchase again.
