GALAX PRO 12V 2-Speed Cordless Drill, Compact, with 6-Piece Accessories (YD022)

This drill is pretty awesome! I was looking for something delicate enough to take screws out of laptop motherboards, but something also with enough heft to drive a proper screw into say plastic molding, or some thinner wood boards without seizing up or feeling like I was using some sort of toy.The high speeds really crack like a proper high powered lithium drill should while the lows have the characteristically steady churn of old school NiCd powered drills. Lots of room for speed variability in the trigger, and a definitely head heavy design that really sinks into whichever bit you’re driving.Haven’t really given the battery a proper test, but I’m honestly not that concerned about it. Looks to use three 18650’s and anyone worth their salt should know how easy these are to come across and how repairable these battery packs are should there be anything seriously wrong with them. With that said the standard battery pack doesn’t give off any obvious signs of defect and most certainly hit my anticipated marks right out of the box.Just to round it all out because it was certainly a part of my list of criteria - this doesn’t exude the sort of amateur, comically whimpy type tool that I think is increasingly common. That is to say this drill does have a bit of a bite to it, and if you’re not at least vaguely familiar with how to use a drill properly then you might screw up your project something royal, but for most medium and lightweight tasks I imagine that you’d be more than sufficiently set, especially if you’re inclined toward semi-finite in-home repair type jobs or lightweight woodworking/plastic applications.Really impressed with this thing, especially for the quality, niche and price.

This is pretty good for a little apartment. The instructions use English very poorly, but I was able to figure out how to use this. Be careful though I didn’t understand how to tighten the extensions on and it fell off using until I figured it out.

I bought this drill for simple household chores and it performs. The variable speed is a plus and the built-in light is obviously useful in those dimly-lit areas. Two screwdriver bits and the included drill bits are a bonus. Buy it. It works.

It's lightweight and a perfect size. Will be used for household projects.

Very good drill

Excellent basic drill/driver. Small and lightweight so easy to get in light places. Perfect for basic homeowner needs. Came fully charged and still lots of battery life after several projects today.

Great value for your money and it’s chargeable instead of a plug in which is neat.
