I've been doing facial peels for years. I know good product when I use it. Because it is an awesome product, Dr. Song Chemical Peel Neutralizer will now be a staple in my arsonry of facial peels. It works instantly to stop the burn and activation of the chemical peel. It is always safe to have it on hand. I have paid much more but I have just found out that paying more isn't always better. I purchased a TCA peel and was foolish enough to use it the first time without a neutralizer and quickly regretted it. My face felt like it was on fire - no amount of plain water relieved it. I found out about this neutralizer and ordered it before I did my next peel. Night and day difference. It works exactly how it says it does. Second peel was way more pleasant and way less painful. Please make sure you have this neutralizer on hand before doing a facial peel. You won't regret it.

This product is a lot of quantity & quality for the price. When I used it I could tell it work immediately. I purchased this along with another Item not realated to Dr. Song but I needed a neutralizer.I was a little skeptical about using a product not related to the product I purchase but I said okay I'll give it a try .To my surprise when I used the Dr.Song it stop the burning & Andtingling sensation immediately. Just ensure your by a water source and keep I can't stress this enough keep your eyes closed until after you rinse with water.I used this several times and it stop the action from the chemical peel solution immediately. If you want to be certain you neutralize your skin without mixing up a solution then give this a try.

I just started at home peels after my peels scheduled at the dermatologist were cancelled due to COVID-19. I did not want to start over, as I was just starting to see the results. I purchased a glycolic acid peel product (same strength the dermatologist was using) and Dr. Songs neutralizer. The sprayer works flawlessly (I performed a test spray before beginning the peel to be sure.) This scentless neutralizing spray works immediately to help douse the stinging sensation of the peel. Its ingredients list is simple and not bogged down with non-essentials. The first ingredient is purified water, which is free of toxins, pollutants, and microbes. Its main role is as a solvent or carrier to deliver active ingredients to where they will be most effective and beneficial to skin. The sodium bicarbonate controls the acid-base balance of cosmetic products. Green tea extract has MANY good benefits for the skin, including calming irritation, soothing redness and swelling, and repairing damage. Aloe Vera, too, is a great addition. It offers anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, antioxidant, humectant and soothing, anti-itch qualities for the skin. The last ingredient is Phenoxyethanol. Its purpose is to act as a preservative/stabilizer. This is a highly controversial ingredient. I would check the ingredient labels on the products you use daily to see if they contain phenoxyethanol and toss the ones that have it. Because acid peels are not typically done every day, and because phenoxyethanol is the last ingredient present, I would not banish this product to the garbage. Exercise caution, read labels and use in moderation. (If pregnant or breastfeeding, it's my opinion that you may want to stay away from any product containing phenoxyethanol entirely.) In all, I like this product, and I'm happy that I ordered it!

Browsing Amazon as one likes to do I came across this product I figured like I'm sure others did its not too expensive so if it doesn't work I'm not out much. However I freaking love this I have dry skin and I can't use physical exfoliation I'm prone to hyperpigmentation I use this a few times a week and I love it.

It does exactly what it is supposed to do- neutralise the reaction between the skin and the acid. I've used it twice with a TCA and Salicylic peel. It stopped the reaction from going forward. There is no distinctive scent and the formula is not viscous at all. The spray pump works as it is should. After a few minutes of the peel on my face, I spray the neutralizer then rinse with cold water then spray once again to be sure that all the acid was neutralised and removed. I have not experienced continued chemical reaction after using the product.This will probably last until the end of the year with continued monthly uses.
