Great meters
I am a service tech and have used these meters for years they are very good.. I have had a few break but I can not say I am the most gentle person on my meters.. have seen them get wet and dropped and keep working for the money they beat a fluke every time. the dual display is great to read both amps and voltage at same time very nice... added bonus the clamp on temp clamp

The media could not be loaded. You know you get what you pay for. Atleast that’s what I thought bought this unit to replace my other that’s been pretty good to me for over 6 years however accuracy is important to me I thought mine was just wearing out. I do hvac and one of the things I most check is capacitance I don’t remember taking this long to get a reading checking an 80mfd cap. Takes about 3 secs and that is if you have a VERY solid connection I inboxed my new meter hoping that maybe my old one was wearing out and I was wrong I have pictures and video to show the comparison of the new, 6 year old same model, and my 10 year old fluke. I am rather disappointed because this meter was not a cheap one and the operation is just not what I expected a $180 meter should be will return and switch to fluke.

Bought Less than a year ago as a gift and only a few months in service and this multimeter tanked. Ended up charging customers for parts inappropriately due to bad readings. Don’t waste your time, money or business with this equipment.

Non Contact Voltage function is not working ( Audio nor Light).called companie's customer service 4 times and left messages with phone number. did not get any call back.sending the product back.

WARNING!! This is a plastic toy not a real tool.
This is a very cheap and flimsy meter. DO NOT buy this if you intend on using it for a real field job. This is a plastic toy and will break on you in less than 3 months. The clamp went first on 3/4" suction line. It snapped like a pringle. The amp clamp was next when I clamped it onto a 120v line and let it hang under it's own weight. Yup, you guessed it. Snapped like a slim jim. 10/10 would not but again or recommend.

Do NOT trust temp clamp!
Great product for multimeter, but the temp clamp itself was off 6 degrees and costed some issues figuring out refrigeration problems

Stopped Working
Item stopped working after a couple of uses. Will not give Ohms test. Buyers beware. No return policy or tech support that will fix it.

Easy range selection. Love the magnet for two handed operation. Temperature readings a plus when using for HVAC applications.

UEI DL389
This is easily one of the best multimeters on the market and doesn't receive the credit it deserves. FLUKE, IDEAL, and all the rest are long standing names with a lot of great products behind them , but when it comes to practical meters that do more then just give a voltage and amperage, UEI has the rest of 'em beat. As an electrician, I use this meter and it shames me not to hand credit over to those HVAC techs who designed this product. Having a magnet on the back is a huge win and a game changer, more so having a test lead holder on the clamp-on is brilliant. The screen lighting is far superior to fluke (it does not give glare). This is my second UEI meter. The first one was stolen from me and it was quite old. It came in a nice leather pouch and it bugs me the thief now has that too. I'd give this meter a 4.5 stars if i could, but only because i'm disappointed that UEI no longer provides the leather storage pouch. None the less, happy to have mine replaced, that fluke was driving me nuts!

one best entry level meter for hvac trade
accurate and reliable. Default DC voltage reading is mV so you ave to change the range every time you want to read regular low voltage, which was why I took one star off
