Great Quality and Dimming Range... Works Perfectly with Lutron MACL-153M
I recently used two of these in conjunction with a Lutron MACL-153M Maestro 150-Watt Multi-Location CFL/LED Digital Dimmer and LEDMO SMD2835 Warm White Flexible LED Strip (both sold here at Amazon.com), and the end result exceeded all expectations. The device is high quality, solidly constructed, and smoothly dims LED strip lights comparable to, if not better than, the dimmable LED bulbs from G7, Hyperikon, Philips and other popular name brands (i.e. when using the Lutron MACL-153M) . The only minor annoyances are AC / DC spring-loaded quick connect terminals instead of screw-type terminals, and the AC input wire openings should be larger to more easily accommodate 16/18 AWG lamp ("zip") cord due to its thicker insulation.Bear in mind, this is primarily an electronic device and appears to be designed for a maximum wire size of 16/18 AWG stranded. Although sturdy, this driver is simply not designed to handle NMB wire (Romex) or other 12/14 AWG solid conductor. (This is somewhat similar to saying you are disappointed in the 110 V Leviton receptacle you just purchased because it can only handle maximum 12/2 NMB wire and not 6 AWG stranded THHN/THWN cable.) In order to connect incoming power using NMB wire, simply use a short length of 16/18 AWG zip cord or comparable stranded single conductor, and connect to the Romex with wire nuts.Sure, you can spend $80+ for a dimmable magnetic transformer and another $60+ for a magnetic low voltage dimmer, however from my perspective, this is the best bang for the buck since you can use a 'conventional' dimmer and obtain the same functionality for less than half the price (about $65 for driver + Lutron dimmer). If you have any questions about your application, simply email EverSale as they have proven to be most helpful.

I have a couple of these, and they both work. The only issues are:1) There's no ground terminal on the unit, so you can't ground it.2) There's no clearance in the cover for the AC supply voltage wiring, so you have to manually grind the cover to allow 14-2 (or 12-2) wiring to supply the power. If you don't clearance the cover, there's no way to install the cover. As a side note, if installing strip LED lighting, you can't connect one long string of lights, as you'll have a large voltage drop and the lighting closest to the driver will be brighter than the lighting farthest from the driver. You'll need to break up the strips and run power to them in parallel from the driver.

Good solution for use with standard dimmers
Purchased Jan 2017.Its hard to find reasonably priced LED transformers that work well with standard dimmers and that actually carry US ETL or other US accepted certifications but I'm very pleased with this one.The only downsides I find:- The dimming range is not as good/wide as they indicate but honestly, we tend to either run it full blast or fully dimmed which I would say (visually) is closer to 25% than 5%.- Its a bit thicker than I would like - To do the job, it needs to have a certain volume I guess I would prefer larger and thinner.I prefer to keep transformers in a place where they can be fairly easily seen. In this case under the kitchen cabinet but its thickness makes it a tad more visible than the previous halogen transformers I used.

A great solution to dimming low voltage led lights.
Works well. The dimming range could be a little better - but that's LED's. only thing I wasn't keen on is it seems to not allow the led to go to their very brightest. Also when switching on, seems the leds flicker on to near full brightness then go to the dim setting. This could be the dinner switch but I have no immediate way of testing. Using strip 12v leds

Worked great with LED strip lights
They work great for me, as someone else stated the 12 gauge wire barely fits in this. I would have given it five stars if the 12 gauge wire fit better. I also connected it to a few lights before I had the rest connected, it kept turning on and off. Once I had 5 feet connected of strip lights it worked great.

These work well. Very little hum noise. Powering about 40 watts. Controlling the 120v side with a new style standard CL dimmer (P&S Legrand). As others have mentioned there is no room for the 120v wiring to come out of the cover so it must be notched or cut.

I have had it for good 6 months and have had no issues so far
I am using this Dimmable CV DC LED Driver with INSTEON dimmers set up to drive an LED strip. The dimming is adequate (not as full as it could be) and i see no visible flicker. I have had it for good 6 months and have had no issues so far.

Expensive to use - Doesn't last long
Expensive to use considering it only lasted 24 months before it stopped working. That's roughly $17 per year to use this brand of driver. It worked great for 24 months. I had no problems connecting it to 12 gauge wires. I agree that the release tabs shouldn't be under the wires; it makes it hard to get to although I didn't have a problem with the wire causing the release tab to unlock the connection after putting the cover plate back on.I hope my review after 24 months will be of value to new customers.
