No need of external batteries which my earlier versions of the drone required. Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I’ve flown toy drones before. But it’s been a while since I’ve flown one so I was a little rusty. Wanted one a little better quality than the previous ones. Initially I was not impressed, tried it in a small space. Was about to return it in fact. Decided to test it outdoor, and I had so much fun. The controls are great. The camera is stunning. Had a great time. The set up is very simple, download the app “HFUN”, connect your phone to the drone WiFi, run the app, calibrate the drone and lift off. I love the fact the battery detached from the drone and uses normal usb cable to charge it. No special cable needed. Also, has a second camera at the bottom. So you also get a birds eye view and great for landing. You can set the software to start record directly to your phone. The software has other features which I have not explored yet.I realised why my initial try failed, I did not prepare myself properly. Tips for beginners, the way the drone is placed is important. For example, if the drone facing you, if you move the drone forward, it will come towards you. If it’s facing to the left, forward will be to your left. As obvious as it may sound, in reality, you may expect it to move in one direction, without paying attention to the direction it’s facing. It will require some practice. Best rest it in the garden or part.

I purchased this as a beginners drone as it came highly recommended. It was easy to use once you got the hang of it. I like the fact that if folds up nice and small and simply connects to your phone using WiFi. You can only fly this on a perfectly still day as the slightest breath of wind takes it off course quite quickly. I was really disappointed in the quality of the film footage that was captured, because it doesn’t store it onboard and relays it back via the WiFi it is unusable as it is choppy and jerky! The only thing that you can really use it for is taking stills which are of an OK quality, I would not say that this was HD at all even though it is advertised as this. I would recommend this for kids to have a bit of fun but if you wanted to be able to use any of the video footage on a YouTube video or anything I would suggest going for something of a better quality.

Bye bye drone. It was uncontrollable and flew away on first attempt. The picture quality is great but it was so difficult to control. I couldn’t get it back and tried pressing in each direction. It went in the water as a result. It was quite a laugh I must say.

I purchased this followed all the instructions. During the first flight the transmitter lost contact with the drone and it flew off to who knows where.....I am now left with a controller only. It’s cheap but also nasty I wouldn’t bother with this model.

Definetly not 4k and not winds lvl 3 stability, i thought i would get a nice deal but only chinese lies,its ok to learn to fly a drone and to film a little for fun but the same thing and camera quality you can get for 30 pounds

Got this in Late January and due to the poor weather we had I couldn’t get to use it then we were put in lockdown I was able to test this until lockdown had finished. Tried to fly it but it only wanted to fly away from me and not return. Don’t buy!!!!!!!!!
