When trying to replace the original blower motor with this unit, I found one of the mounting lugs on the new housing wasn't quite in the correct spot (about 6 mm too close to the new housing, was very evident when comparing the new with the old one), and the new housing didn't fit as well as the original. Since my car is a 2006 model, I figured there may be some warpage of the ducting in the car. I ended up using the new motor in my OEM housing, and all works fine again. It's much quieter than the one it replaced (my old one was very loud due to a ton of wear in everything). The plastic housing that comes with the blower is much softer than the OEM, and one lug cracked when I started tightening the screw (before I realized one hole was in the wrong location). The motor seems to be built decently, time will tell if it holds up as well as the original.

Reused old shroud in and working but a bit of a PIA as I struggled bent up under dash to figure out. Be better if it was motor only.

2 of the 4 screw holders are broken off.There are all kinds of burrs on the fan bladeI don't know what the heavy plastic band is.
