For years I used a plastic soap dish with no drainage holes, which meant my soap would quite often end up sitting in water and go slimy, making it unpleasant to use and also shortening how long I could use it for as the soap would end up disintegrating. I finally got fed up with this and decided I'd look for alternatives, and I'm really glad I found these soap dishes.The main benefit is that it does keep the soap dry, and since I've been using it my soap hasn't turned slimy and gross. The design is clever, as the water drains into the basin, so that you don't end up with soapy water draining into a pool on the edge of the basin which you have to clean up. It's a nice, clean, simple design that solves a problem effectively.Other benefits: my soap hasn't once fallen off into the basin. Neither has the soap dish fallen down into the basin, which used to happen fairly often with my old soap dish. I like the simple white design, it's easy to clean, and good value for money.The only downside: if you don't have a wide flat area next to your tap, you can't put this soap dish down flat along the edge of your basin - mine is raised up a bit on the right hand side (see photo). This is a minor irritation, but it's not really the fault of the soap dish and it still functions perfectly well.

My soap bars are pretty large and they kept sliding around and falling off the cheap plastic shower tray. Bought this to put on top of the tray and it’s brilliant - stays put, keeps the soap in place and prevents it from going mushy. You get 3 in a pack and they are easy to clean; perfect buy.

Wanted a soap dish that would not damage the bath if it fell in accidentally. This achieves that aim admirably, the dishes are well finished and are easy to clean. They design is also good as it allows water to drain away and lets the soap dry. The 3 pack makes them exceptional value too. Dropped a star purely because the silicone is not ‘carved from solid’ but hollow at the back in the raised areas. Perhaps I expected too much! Happy, however, to recommend them.

These are the best, my third buy the other two plastic ones I bought slipped off the ceramic bathroom sink as there is a slight incline and when they got wet they slowly slipped into the sink these silicon ones do not slip even when wet they stay put ideal for me, easy to clean and drain freely Ellie Mcg

We’ve gone back to using bars of soap rather than hand wash so I was looking for something to hold the bar and stop it sliding all over, especially with a toddler in the house. This does the job perfectly, the soap stays in place, it’s not as mushy and the dish is easy enough to wipe clean. I would definitely recommend.

Inexpensive and do a good job. They are floppy enough to adapt naturally to the contours of the soap spaces on the basins and do a reasonable job of allowing the soap to drain or dry. They need washing (at least) every few days on both sides, of course, to remove soft soap from the contours and keep the undersides clean but that is very easy.

Decided to switch over to bar soap to reduce plastic, keeps the soap in place as previous dish just slides off. Does come packaged in plastic wrapping then each dish individually wrapped not sure how necessary this is?

I do like these soap holders, they look good on the bathroom basin, do not slip off, and only take a little bit of soap on them , but is easy to keep clean. Jo
