Design flaw: batteries do not fit, renders product useless
The batteries could only be inputted at about a 20 degree angle unless flipped, in which the product does not work.

Great idea!
What can you say about a product like this? I really can’t verify that it is doing anything, but it is easy and fun to use!The LED UV toothbrush sterilizer is a small hockey puck sized container that you open up and snap your toothbrush into it, close the lid. Presto, a blue light come on for about three minutes and your done! It’s small and easy to use, the perfect travel companion.I’m one of those people who worry a little bit about how clean my toothbrush is. Whenever I get a cold, I normally sanitize my brush by soaking it in alcohol. This device is a whole lot easier to use than alcohol, especially when traveling! The main downside on this device is the written instructions! They have been poorly translated from Chinese. There is a small strip of important looking paper that is mostly in Chinese. Not sure what it is for. It may have some useful information, or simply say “ inspected by number 7”! Fortunately the unit is so simple to use you don’t need the manual. All in all, I like it! I can see myself using this product both at home and when traveling.

Pros and Cons
This is a review for the LetGoShop UV LED Toothbrush Sterilizer Portable Toothbrush Travel Container Travel Toothbrush. For years I had an electric toothbrush that came with a sterilizing chamber and I just loved it. Did it really work to keep germs and bad-things-that-might-hurt-you off of the toothbrush? Not sure, but I felt better safe than sorry so I used it all the time. The whole toothbrush unit finally went kaput so I haven’t used a sterilizer for while.Saying that, I was really looking forward to giving this a try. When I first looked at it, I was thought it looked really flimsy and I wasn’t convinced it would be something I would use. Well it turns out that I like it a lot.You simply put in your own AAA batteries and it’s good to go. Put in your toothbrush the top and close it and you can see the blue lights blink. After just a few minutes the lights go off and the sterilizing is done.Note that this also works just fine with my electric toothbrush head - there’s plenty of room.My only critiques would be that the battery compartment is tight and it took a little while to fit the batteries in and close it. Also, I have 20/20 eyesight,, but there was no way I could read the directions they were so small. I actually had to borrow my husband’s reading glasses and even then...All in all, I like this a lot. It’s very lightweight, easy to use, and if it’s doing its job than it’s great. I do not know how long this will last so if anything goes wrong or it shows premature wear-and-tear, I will come back and edit this review.

I can't prove it works, but I like it
It's difficult to review a product like this scientifically. If I don't catch a cold, is it because my toothbrush was sterilized, or because I wasn't exposed to any germs? If I do catch a cold, is it because the gadget wasn't doing what it was supposed to, or because my neighbor sneezed in my face? However, I've been gradually getting on board with UV sterilizers, and already switched from regular water flossers to those that come with this gadget. This one is for tooth brushes, and it weighs practically nothing, so you can toss it in your bag and sterilize a brush at work, if you're diligent about oral care at lunch time. Or you can sterilize a brush or two at home (there are two "beds" to keep brushes separate). It is battery operated, so you don't need a wall wart or USB cable to charge it. It takes just three minutes to sterilize your brush, and a red light blinks if the AAA battery is running low. There's a little brochure that spends a lot of time on cautions and warnings, but the print is so tiny you'll need a magnifying glass to read them. Somehow, I've gotten through more than 6 decades without sterilizing my toothbrush, and I still have all my teeth, so I'm pretty sure I don't need this gadget...but I like it anyway.

Portable and Perfect for Travel
For years I had an UV Toothbrush sanitizer by Philips Sonicare that was too bulky to take with me. I use only electric toothbrushes because I have gum recession and issues with plaque, so it's of utmost importance to me to have a clean brush head, since the periodontal pockets makes it easy for bacteria to invade my mouth and cause infections. That's why I religiously brush my teeth twice a day and floss.I like this compact sterilizer isn't made just for regular toothbrushes but also certain types of Sonicare and Oral B brushes as well. It's small enough to put into my carry on and easy to use. It's the shape of a small caster wheel with a battery compartment on the back. Just put your brush into the case, snap it closed and the blue light tells you when it's "sanitized." Of course there's no way to measure or see how much bacteria has been killed but that's true of all products advertising this feature. But the size and adaptability are the reasons why I vote for this product.
