Was skeptical at first after reading some reviews about unreliable performance and quality but after 2 months I have had zero issues. Have had the lights through water, mud, and plenty of backroads and so far have had exceeded my expectations. Take your time installing correctly and mount the controller box in a dry area(mounted mine inside my Jeep in the center console). I did not have to order extension cables as these are quite long and installed on a 2 door Wrangler. Plenty of YouTube videos on how to extend the cables if needed from any excess you have from short runs that leave an abundance of length. So take your time and plan ahead and the results are impressive.

So, I did't really know what rock lights were for, but there were indents in my Smittybilt fender liners. So I bought a set.They were quite the job to install because you have to hook to the battery, but if you mount the control unit by the battery, the cables don't reach the back lights. I ended up mounting the control unit in my center console and ran a hot wire to the battery, That way it could reach all the lights.I finally got it setup and was disappointed to see the lights flashing with the music. To make it less cheezy, you can select one color and have it just stay on that color.... but there is no white... I woudl take them out, but it was such a pain to install, I decided to leave them in.

The media could not be loaded.  Installed these myself about 2 months ago, fairly easy but somewhat tedious for all 8 lights. They still work great and have seen rain, large puddles, mud, stones...etc. They are alot brighter then I expected with brightness level at full blast, great color changing schemes and other color combination options. Only gripe is the app, sometimes it gets buggy and won't turn them off on the first try, but I learned that you have to be standing pretty much right next to your car by the receiver. For the price, I'm fairly impressed!

However, there are some easy to avoid hoops you have to jump through which make install a bit harder than it has to. The rock lights do work and I am satisfied, even though install took about an hour longer than what I wanted.

Wish I had known this before I bought them. The app that controls the music, won’t sync with Spotify. Lights seems to be heavy duty, only time will tell. I was hoping they were a little brighter, but they will suffice. I would not call them rock lights, because they are really not bright enough to see the ground well under my rzr, but I will say they are great accent lighting. Just wish they would work with Spotify.

Used for rock lights on a utv. Only worked with the Lotus Lantern app a few times. Now it drains battery won't turn off and have no control over lights. Reinstalled app and disconnected power still no luck. The brain box for lights now makes a chimmy noise when it's powered on. Reviews on the app show more people having the same problems. Emailed contact on the app with no reply. Going in the garbage!......seller finally emailed me back, they will warranty the product as long as I send them pics and a short video of the product. 🤔 okay send them a pic and vid of it just sitting there not working....if you take a chance on these, better put them on a toggle switch as the bluetooth feature will drain and kill your battery.

The price looks great, until you experience the hassle, the frustration, and the anger that ensues after installation.I installed a set on my 2020 Jeep Gladiator. I was super excited until I turned them on. They won’t connect to the Bluetooth on my phone. They’re just white, well kinda white anyway. Even worse, they won’t connect to the Bluetooth on my phone. I’m a former car audio installer, so I know that I’ve installed them correctly and I know how to use the tech. I’ve got two other Bluetooth light sets that work wonderfully with the cheesy Lotus Lantern app. This set never even shows up.I’ve tried to contact them through Amazon, and nothing. I tried to contact them through their Amazon store and get nothing but a “message failed to send” notification. I even went directly to their website and used the email address from their support page, just to get a “mail delivery subsystem error” because their support email address doesn’t even exist. Naturally, there is no phone number eitherI’m absolutely furious. I spent eight hours doing everything right and tight. Now, it’ll take even longer to uninstall them and reinstall something that actually works.DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!

Original control box was faulty and would not sync to the app needed to run the lights. After an email back to the company, I was sent a new control box to plug into my already installed system. Now it works like a charm! Great product for the money, just wish I could add MORE lights. Put two lights under each fender well. Installation time was a couple hours to do right. I also order a couple of plug extensions because I have a longbed truck, totally worth the purchase! Highly recommend this buy!
