Relatively easy to install however the metal components have not lasted at all took the cameras down for a battery change and this is what the screws and fixing rod look like after only 5 months outside, have removed and coated them in a copper grease but dont think they will last long, good idea poor quality metal components letting it down

These camera covers are a good addition to the blink XT system giving relatively good protection to the cameras themselves, they are easy to fit and install but bare in mind these camera covers nearly double the size of the camera so if you are looking for a cover that blends in to the surroundings you will have to bear in mind the size of these units when put together. Whilst the setup and fitting together of the cases are relatively easy it can be quite difficult tightening the bracket up to stop the camera moving and took quite a few goes to get it right. The general build quality of the unit is quite good and should last minute years without any problems. The last thing to bear in mind is due to the design of the camera housings you lose a small amount of the corners of the top of the picture as the rain cover at the front protrudes quite a way out. Apart from this the unit looks quite good and is a necessity to keep your camera system dry.

Strong sturdy case design, very simple to install the camera into the case. Place in the cameras and screw the back on, if your using a cable ensure cable comes through the small hole on the bottom, if your using a flat usb style cable you may need to adapt the hole a little.Install the mounts to the house depending on where your installing (I have 3 camera in total 2 high level 1 low level) is easy enough Use the template to mark the location for the screws and simply drill the holes.This is the only criticism while screwing the arm of the mount to the house, 2 screws from the one mount the heads came off ( not sure if it’s cheap screws or faulty ) but due to this happening I had to remove the one good screw and relocate the mount, not easy while on a ladder 2 stories high and limited space.Once all in place positioning the camera was simply enough the covers did not cause any restrictions or obstructions on the camera view. Trying the two way sound was also good the sound quality was not affected.One thing I will say based on another review I did add some waterproof coating to the metal parts, to try reduce the metal parts going rusty.Over all impressed with the product, at present let’s come back and review in 6 month after being up in British weather

Great edition to the blink camera....they are strong and sturdy and make the camera unit look bigger and more realistic...such a shame they are not supplied with the blink camera to start with.... definitely will preserve the cameras ...best thing about them is you screw shut the camera into them.....

Fits blink camera well, easy to install and relatively cheap. However, whilst it offers "360 degree" movement, in reality when I angle the camera downwards (which I need to do on all my cameras as I installed them above reaching distance) the connection to the base becomes loose making it challenging to position at the exact angle I wanted. Also, it has long top lip which reduces the camera's visibility by 5-10%.

These stop the camera from looking like a Blink camera & the camera housing is a screw on fix & not the Blink push-click fitting so it's a lot more secured & has a far greater range of adjustment.

Really mice looking bit of kit. Easy to install and with the outside mounts which I bought extra they are brilliant. Only thing I can say bad about these so far is that the night vision isn’t great but that might be me as am trying different settings overall a good little system without the hassle of loads of wiring

Wanted outdoor mounts more secure than the flimsy ones that came with the origional cameras.These provided just what I wanted. Have already ordered a second set of three outdoor mounts so that all my cameras now have them and provide all around the house cctv coverage.
