Quality built, a little tight
I'm a fan of the lightweight boot styles, so I grabbed these to give them a shot. Checked the sizing chart, ordered a pair to wear for work and when I play airsoft. Initial impression was I liked the material. Around the cuff of the boot, it is a little too...puffy than what I prefer. No big deal, pretty easy to over look. Tried to use a couple techniques to get them a little worn in before I used them for long periods of time. Had to wear them for short periods of time initially, didn't want to seem to break in. I was able to wear them for about an hour and a half before I had to loosen them to give my feet some rest. I now have probably 150+ hours wearing these boots, and the sides still bother my feet a little bit. I found it to irritate the top of my feet, and the insides of my heals causing minor blistering or un-comfort. That seems to be subsiding slowly, but the rubbing around my right pinky toe is still bothering me a bit. Overall I'm happy with them, I'm just wondering if my complaints will subside with a little bit more wear or if there will always be some level of un-comfort.

My third pair
These are good boots. I'm on my third pair. I have very wide feet, and these are the only footwear I can find that doesn't blister up my little toes. I wear them for adventure racing. A typical day is 30 miles under a 45# pack. They do great.I do have gripes. The toe box is too short in height and there's a seam that rubs on the top of my foot. It's miserable at first. I now break them in by filling them with hot water and letting them soak, then walking them dry. I find that doing this twice gets them to fit my feet perfectly. My second gripe is relative to the soles. They are both slippery and soft. I'm on my third pair because I walked the tread right off the last two pairs in fairly short order. Worse, the traction is barely adequate. As I get nearer to this years race I intend to take a dremel tool to the soles and open up the tread pattern a bit to get some more grip. At last years race I could barely keep my footing on a steep hillside covered in dry grass.Overall, though, I love the big toebox, the cushy sole, and the very light weight.

Strong Rocky boot supporter!
Good overall boot. The vibram soles seem to be more durable than the rocky C4s and C6s. My only complaint was how narrow the boot is compared to its Rocky predecessors. I have never needed a wide boot, but if you like wiggle room in your toes, go for the wide in this series. Also, these are similar to Rocky C4s in that they don't offer much ankle support. The C6s had a full leather strip along the achilles which added some weight.

Boot is narrow and it squeaks.
I am enjoy wearing Rocky brand boots. Rocky messed up on this one. I have a slim build and these boots are too narrow. I compared the sole of these boots to several tennis shoes I own. Almost all of my tennis shoes have a wider sole than these boots. FWIW, these boots have the same bottom sole with as Nike Free running shoes. Last, the boot squeaks. The squeak may go away after they break in. I use boots for garrison and light field use and didn't want to chance squeaky boots.

Poor design
I love Rockies, but I did not like this boot. It bunches up around the ankle which led to pinching and no relacing was able to fix it. Poor design on this one.

Read this is you had C4Ts
I had sand C4Ts and obviously they don’t make those in Coyote Brown or I’d have them. I bought the RKC042 and hated them, they’re super heavy and look like the C4Ts but aren’t at all like them. I regularly ruck and so got these instead. They so far have molded to my feet but aren’t as waterproof as the C4Ts but are lighter than them just narrow like everyone else says. But they are good for rucking and patrolling considering no boot I’ve ever had had kept my feet dry. Tread is also super thin but doesn’t bother me. All in all I’d say good boot for someone who is in infantry or combat MOS

Great boot, just make sure you order right size.
They are very light and my feet stay cool in them, but if you’re used to the S2V, this will be a definite change. Size wise, they fit big, in my case it was a half size too large and are causing some unexpected pressure points. They’re return policy stated is unworn condition, so I am stuck with them, but if you ordered the correct size, they could be a fantastic boot and might very well be a 5 star purchase. I just can’t 5 star due to fit and return policy.

Disappointed
In April I purchased a size 5 my normal size and they started out fine. They now have stretched out to the point that I can slip my foot in and out with no problem when they are unlaced. The third eyelet on the top of my feet has left bruises and is painful. I have to skip them when lacing up. In addition they now SQUEAK when I walk :( I am only able to use them in Garrison as they are not suitable for anything else. I am disappointed
