BG 44k Platinum New

Ok, I don’t write many reviews, but my Toyota was running rough at stoplight, surging RPMs up and down acting like it was gonna stall out. Scotty (Mechanic) on YouTube recommended this poor rough idling and to clean the fuel system up. So I thought what the heck I’ll try it, I am very surprised. The buff idling is gone acting like it’s gonna stall is gone. I will use this again. Cars got 350 thousand miles on it so it needed some work, and this fuel additive took care of what it needed. Again, I am impressed.

Not a mechanic but my old port injection Honda was having some stuttering on hard acceleration, and it improved noticeably after using this product. There was a video on YouTube showing superiority of this product over other fuel system cleaners.

Engine light was coming on indicating a c5 miss fire. Repair shop wanted $1500 to replace fuel injector. Ran a can of this through and no light in over 3 months

So for starters, I have never really been a big believer in these kinds of things, however this brand has been around since I was a kid. Thought I would try it. And it works initially it KILLED my gas mileage, but since I am getting 1 mpg better then before. So, it's a worthy investment.Please note you may see intermittent blue and white smoke but it will stop.

The independent mechanic where I get my vehicle serviced recommends BG products, so I decided to give 3 different ones a try -- 44K Platinum Fuel System Cleaner, CF5 Fuel System Cleaner, and MOA Engine Oil Supplement.The 44K is a "deep" cleaner, while the CF5 is more of a maintenance product. Consequently, I use 44K once a year, and the CF5 at every oil change. These products are supposed to fight the adverse effects that can be caused by the ethanol added to gasoline, as well as other “crud” that can foul fuel systems. It is hard to offer an objective opinion as to the effectiveness of the fuel system cleaners as I have never gathered data regarding changes in performance. There did appear to be a slight improvement in mileage when I began using them, but that is a subjective observation.I can say that the MOA Engine Oil Supplement does appear to have had a positive effect as I am no longer adding approximately half a quart of oil between changes. My repair shop says that it has seen engines burning large amounts of oil being "cured" by using this product.I have been using these products for a little over one year. Based on my mechanics recommendation, and my experience with the MOA product, I do recommend trying BG products. By the way, BG products are only available at professional repair shops, and here on Amazon from authorized re-sellers. One will not find them in the large auto parts stores.

Really helped my engine run better. Fuel mileage improvement remains to be seen, but the engine has definitely been running better since I put it in.
