My favorite modifier for wedding portraits.
I love the spread from this modifier - great for full body lighting in studio and for group shots. I have used it for 4 weddings, a couple of engagement shoots and one head shot session that also required a group portrait. It can be used outdoors on days with little or no wind, but only paired with a heavy duty stand or while being steadied by an assistant.

This thing is HUGE!
This is exactly what I wanted for large group prom portraits and family portraits. I think I could use a couple to light a baseball team. It's very easy to use and takes a minute or two to set up and tear down. Works well with my AD400's.

You Need The Glow
I like large light sources so I bought the 88" and also the 60" Wing. I like the shape. I have a bunch of umbrella but I needed ones to use in tight spaces. The Glow Wing with strobe gives a great broad light for groups and full length. The price drop made the choice more attractive.

Did some quick testing and I’m loving it so far. Looking forward to using it in the field

Nice Modifier For Groups: Enormous PIA To Set Up
UPDATE: I did get around to "JB Welding" the ribs into the pins. So far it is holding up and makes the umbrella 1000% more usable.I got this umbrella as part of kit. I used it for a small group (5 people) and I was pleasantly surprised. However, it is relatively quite time-consuming to set up as you have to individually place each rib in a little metal pin x2; once for the white inner umbrella portion and once again for the silver outer umbrella portion. It won't stay together when collapsed and placed back in the storage pouch. I am currently awaiting the JB Weld to cure to see if that will permanently affix the ribs to the two umbrella portions. If not, I doubt I will use it again because it's too time-consuming to set up on location. I would just throw away the one I have and buy it again if they had a version with permanently affixed ribs.
