At last, a proper spout, relief from the tyranny of fat glass jugs.
This kettle pours properly from it's carefully formed spout. No leaks or drips running down the outside, just a proper spout, cuts the flow instantly and cleanly. Not difficult to make just some care taken to reproduce what is an ancient design classic. Temperature control is a useful addition. Well priced, looks good works properly. The kettle as a design was perfected generations ago , why we tolerate the dreadful glass jugs being foisted upon us is a mystery. This one is the way to go. Light and well balanced, nice to look at and use. Well priced and strongly packed, uses half the power of the jug horrors too. Recommended +++

Does what its meant to do for a pour over.
Setting temps wasnt intuitive. had to read the manual for instructions. Other then that, everything functions as expected.Good: perfect for a pour-over coffee. Spout had good strength and control. temp control is impeccable.bad: unable to save temp settings. have to set temps everytime before boiling. led doesnt have an auto-off function so it remains on indefinitely. i just remove it from the power base to shut it off.Overall very good value for money. cant complain at this price point.

Avoid! - Poor quality and broke after 2 months of light use
Initially I was optimistic, it feels and looks cheap but it did work properly. I checked the temperature with another thermometer and it was fairly accurate as well.It has now broken after a 2 months, 1 month of which I was away from home and it sat un-used. Maybe a total of 20 boils before the screen and buttons stopped responding, just flashing random numbers so I can not boil water at all. I have tried the reset combination, plugged and unplugged, left it for days to see if it would come back to life but it's completely dead.Looks like there is no option to return despite having it such a short time so I am out of pocket.I will purchase a stove top gooseneck for around the same price to replace it, I recommend avoiding this and doing the same.

Good shape
Perfect gift for my elderly mum. Just like an electric teapot. The gooseneck spout makes it easier for her to manoevre the kettle and pour with precision. Great gadget if you are worried about the elderly scalding themselves with boiling water

Great product for the money
Easy to use. Temperature is pretty close to the displayed. Anyone who needs it to be accurate to a degree should probably use a thermometer or probe as even more expensive kettles are never any more accurate. Takes a little longer to boil than some kettles but all round great for the price.

Broke after a few weeks of use
First off, the controls are quite poor, and when you set the temperature, you will need to set it below your desired temperature, as otherwise, it will overshoot it. It turns of the heating element once it reaches the desired temp, but doesn't account for the residual heat in the element.This was a nuisance but okay. The reason I gave it 1 star, is that it has broken after a few weeks of use, it seems to me that water has gotten into the electronics, I believe from the steam inside the kettle, and now the kettle won't function at all.Don't recommend, would suggest buying a better brand, or just getting a non electric kettle.

Not that good
First, water comes our of it even though you didn't fill it above max.Second, you need to set the temperature every-time.Third, it keeps steaming for long time and shakes, i guess it's temperature sensor is not that accurateLast, on/off light is annoying as it keeps flashing all timeI don’t recommend buying this product

Nice thing at home
Bought for its design and temperature control. Ideal for tea lovers and tea ceremonies. Max temperature is 80 degrees and you can start from 30. Really amazing thing to control heating of water and drink proper live tea.Enjoy your cup
