I purchased these at Amazon for under $50. My size(11m) boot was the last in stock and the 11W was $169 as is the 10.5m. Amazon or Rocky Boots has some interesting pricing strategy for these boots. The 11.5W is at $69.42.These boots are very good and I recommend them, so far.The boots arrived within about 4 days of ordering via Amazon delivery. They now offer a live map within their Tracking pages with the number of stops between you and your package as well as the location of the Amazon vehicle. I was pleasantly surprised by that little advantage they offer their consumers. I am not sure how far out the Amazon vehicle can be seen. The map may only show up within 30 minutes of the delivery but the data I received was pretty much in real time. The map disappeared after the delivery was completed. The boots themselves arrived in new condition and the box they were sent in arrived unscathed. They are fairly rigid boots but they are comfortable. The rigidity offers support so that if I do roll an ankle the boot will be there to help minimize the damage. The rigidity isn't so bad it feels restrictive but closer to a helping hand. Some boots will fall over at the center of the upper with or without help but these spring back when pushed over. The double and triple stitch design does look well thought out. These are hard soled boots but they do have a softer material sandwiched in the middle which helps soften your steps. Where the rubber meets the road they have non-skid zones and it's also oil resistant. Pretty much wherever you look on the boot you will see a nice feature such as abrasion resistant toe and heel guards. Are they heavy? Just a little. Prior to testing these out I noticed the top two lacing eyelets were replaced by hooks like the last few pairs I've owned. They are purported to speed up the lacing procedure but too often they through work or the lacing process become bent out or in or break off after some time. The ones on these boots can't be bent. I went out for a 2 mile walk over brass, pavement and dirt/gravel. When I returned home I really wasn't in a hurry to take them off so I took the dogs out for a round of fetch and then I gave the boots a rest.Overall I am satisfied with my purchase. The free keychain was unexpected and a welcome addition. The boot's elastic tongue support is another one of those small touches that says they are more than just a pretty face.P.S. READ THE DIRECTIONS. Visit Rocky's website. Look into how to care for these boots. Always remove the ROCKY MEN'S TERRA SUSPENSION FOOTBEDS when the boots aren't in use.

Just as nice as the expensive brands.
Bought these for a husband that works manual labor. Bought in a size 11. He wears an 11 wide, and these fit perfect.I want to start off by saying this man is not kind to footwear. We live in Iowa so we get all of mother nature's bipolar dump. In the past month of wear he's sported these things in ice, snow, mud, rain, sunshine. I'm happy to report that they are actually waterproof. The only downside is that he reports they are well insulated. Which yes, is a good thing, but be prepared because your feet will sweat... Even in zero or negative degree temperatures your feet will be dripping. While these are not $200 quality boots, I would say they are well worth the money and outperform $75+ boots. He didn't realize how comfortable these were until he wore a different pair for a day and came home to complain about how horrible his feet felt. Buy a pair! You won't regret it.

They seem to be well built!
The insoles hurt my heals for the first couple of weeks but they seem to be getting better now.
